  1. Yes, BlueLine, the higher - up your apartment, the higher your rent. Although I'm on the 6th floor, my rent still isn't as expensive as the units with the wrap-around windows on the 6th floor. And, units with balconies are higher priced. I don't know if rent will go down, if I lose some of my view....that would be a good question for the front office....
  2. Well I hope that ever what they build in that blank spot (between the south apt. building and the event lawn) doesn't obstruct my awesome view of the river and Roebling Bridge! I am on the 6th floor of Current and I love it!
  3. Also... are there going to be fireworks for July 4th near downtown?
  4. I'm moving into Current in 32 days! Can anyone tell me exactly where the Schmidlapp Event Stage is being built? Is it in front of the south apartment building overlooking the river? I'm just wondering if I'm going to have a view of the stage and the new Riverfront Park since I'll be on the top floor facing the river...?
  5. I'm moving to Cincy to be closer to my friends and family, and just for a change of pace. I've never lived "downtown" anywhere before, so I'm preparing for a big culture-shock! I'm originally from KY, so this way, I can drive down and see them whenever I want. I'm single - no kids. Question: Is there an existing streetcar system in place NOW in downtown Cincinnati, or is it coming? I'm needing to know about all public transport availabilities from the Current @ Banks area that I can possibly take to any of the hospitals (I'm a nurse) when the roads are bad (with all the snow and ice). Thank you.
  6. Hello all!! I am moving to Current @ the Banks in a few months when the south building gets finished!! I am sooo glad I found this forum. I am very, very excited to get to live within walking distance to EVERYTHING! I currently live in Texas, but am looking forward to moving there. The pictures of the progress are awesome. I'm looking forward to making many friends as I get settled in.
