Here's the thing: I have been dating around, but I haven't found anyone that I have that intellectual connection with, and to me, that is key. He hooked me wiht his witty banter, left wing politics, and Jonathan Hunt glasses.

True. I guess it all depends on perspective. I just really like this person, and I'm putting all my eggs in one basket.

I was actually just thinking of starting a blog myself. But it would be more about my adventures and mis-adventures in the world. Anyone have any suggesetions on where to start? Would anyone be interested in even reading this crap?

I watched the movie Chloe last night with Julieanne Moore. It was interesting to say the least!

Dating sucks, period. Yes, I will fully admit that yesterday I was all gung ho about it, but today is a new day and dating freaking sucks.

From what he's said to me, he's a vegetarian 6 days a week, which means he's a carnivore 1 day a week. Maybe I can convince him to eat meat when he's around me.

Here's my thing: I love MEAT! I'm a carnivore through and through. Bacon is my favorite thing in the whole world. Yet, I want to sort of impress him, so I'm willing to compromise once in a while. We shall see!

Is anyone on the board a vegetarian? If so, can you help me out with something. I need an EASY veggie meal that I can cook for the guy I'm KINDA seeing. I want to impress him, obviously, but at the same time, can't cook worth a lick! Any suggestions would be helpful!

MTS, I can totally relate to what you're saying about your appearance and insecurities. It took me a LONG time and a lot of therapy to get where I'm at, and I still have work to do!

If it's MTS, he's lying about his age. Sweetie, I'm 44 goint on 45 and I have no problems about my age. It's all good over here. I absolutely ADORE how confident you are!
