Thanks for the news link simplythis. Does anyone else find it kind of depressing that the news centered around a bunch of construction workers that get to get paid, and completely seemed to ignore the high-paying and advanced degrees this project will bring to the city? Not to be a downer or anything, but we should stop glorifying the lower jobs and celebrate the creation of high-paying and specialized jobs in this city.

Ahh, thanks KJP for the forum link. The image I saw was in MayDay's post of the 3 alternative designs (it was the 2nd design that was on the website) in your link. Looked really cool, too bad the city isn't likely to build anything that substantial for another decade.

Any news on the Courthouse Plaza idea? ClevelandOhio brought up the first page so I went back to look at all the projects, and I noticed the Courthouse Plaza website has a completely different design then the photo on the forum (a 42 story mixed use tower that has a pretty sharp block-style design). The information next to it mentions the $2 billion in development downtown so it sounds fairly recent. Any word on this? Or is there another forum this project is under?
