Exactly. Drug laws in this country need to be changed full stop. Nobody should be in jail for having a joint. Don't smoke on the job and there shouldn't be an issue. I would venture to say we're probably up to 40% of the country at least dabbling in marijuana. I don't know many people in my sphere of influence that do not...all age groups, income levels etc.

Based on the comments about the "outlet malls", I feel I need to interject. Outlets now are regular stores with slightly more clearance shipped in from other stores who can't sell their clearance or factory stores where they sell inferior merchandise at lower prices. Based on the leasing outline that was shared...there is NOTHING upscale about these stores, which I suppose is a good thing for typical American tourists and inner city/suburban residents that will be shopping there.

I, unfortunately, live in Miami and the money flowing in is from around the world but especially Latin and South America. They like coming to a place that the majority speak Spanish (Cleveland definitely does not have that outside of two or three specific areas). I’m glad we don’t have a bunch of empty towers. I would rather our buildings be occupied and add to the city as opposed to just being yet another 400-600’ building with nobody in it more than two weeks out of the year to clean money. Our growth is organic.

So I guess based on most of these posts I'm confused....every single one of our peer cities has a market for condo towers except for us? Maybe I'm the exception, but I'm 34, paid off my student loans and own two houses. Why wouldn't I be part of the target market? I think the reason our condo market sucks so badly is that there are the same 800+- options that there have been for the last 20 years. It's time for newer options.

I agree with this. Miami area, particularly Dade County are terrible. Reversing on the Interstate, running anything that denotes stopping or yielding, texting because every light is 2 minutes and then missing the light because they were texting and then proceed to run it, blocking any car because they may get in front of you. I'm almost T-boned every single day multiple times. My car has been hit/swiped three times in the past month. I could go on and on lol.

Well, we know that CLE airport is bigger than Cbus so that would mean those twenty extra million people would have to be driving or they are counting something different.

After parking in that garage for the last year and seeing the work, it seems they are just restoring the access to the May Co building and removing the hazards that exist. They have a long way to go still.
