  1. I love the color but signage much? Cowell and Hubbard, KSU, Dwellworks, RTA...can't wait to see the night pic!!!!!
  2. It's crazy that it's still snowing! I can't fathom it and I've only been gone a few months. Nice progress...can't wait til there are buildings there!!
  3. For the last quite a few years, everyone I know has called it "B-Dubs"
  4. Wouldn't that be the Children's Museum spot? If so, that's awesome!
  5. Not really a fan of the look, but it will be adding even more density I suppose.
  6. Thanks for the pics ya'll. Can't wait to come back and see in person!
  7. Fashion Week was pretty awesome there as well!

^^OMG I was stuck in that ATL nonsense!!! It was horrible. Four hours to get 10 miles. This also makes me miss the snow; however, it is pretty nice to be in a tank and shorts in February.
  9. My biggest issue with CLE is the prices. It's double Columbus prices for the same flights. The airport itself is fine to me. I don't need a fancy airport. I need on time flights and quick security.
  10. I don't see a dip in apartment vacancy as an issue. We had over 500 units in just a few months, but nothing is coming online for almost an entire year (fall 2014). These will all fill up and the new units will be very much needed by then. Hotel occupancy may be an issue, but with more units coming online and more range, there could be more conventions and leisure travelers staying at their preferred brands.
  11. So far so good...street frontage and mostly hidden parking.
  12. I'm sure the poster looked at the thread name and assumed it was downtown which is Cimperman.
  13. $5 million maximum state tax credits won for the Worthington redevelopment: "According to the state, the project would cost $30 million and would include indoor parking, retail space and a rooftop penthouse -- tucked out of sight, to maintain the property's historic appearance from the street. Plans include a complete overhaul of two courtyards next to the T-shaped building. And the new investment might spur a makeover of Johnson Court, a little-trafficked passage between West Sixth and West Ninth streets. The developer and Warehouse District leaders hope to reposition the alley as a pedestrian corridor lined with funky stores." http://www.cleveland.com/business/index.ssf/2013/12/may_co_worthington_redevelopme.html#incart_river_default
  14. $5 million maximum state tax credits flowing into this project... "A local investor group is plowing ahead with plans to buy and redevelop the May Co. building, but that deal is far from done. The upper floors of the former department store, which closed in 1992, would house more than 350 apartments and indoor parking in a $128 million undertaking. "This was a key thing, to get the state tax credit allocation," said apartment developer John Carney, who is working with fellow developer Bob Rains and Beachwood investor David Goldberg on the May Co. project. "Without this, we haven't been able to go forward. ... We're working on our financing. We're working on the plan, if you will. We've got four to six months of work to do before we acquire the building and start construction." http://www.cleveland.com/business/index.ssf/2013/12/may_co_worthington_redevelopme.html#incart_river_default
  15. Great to see Waverly Station nearly sold out...just six more units to go in phase three.
  16. It's bad because people do not know how to drive in a city. They all take up the far right lane which clogs Prospect and Huron and I still love traffic complaints in a city (especially one with no traffic!) Come down to South Florida, I'll show you traffic.
  17. Walmart attracts its group of shoppers which is a good portion of this country. There are plenty of others that refuse to set foot in the store. It's also looking like they are getting closer to beginning the work on the Burlington Coat Factory portion.
  18. OMG looks amazing! I went to high school in Galion and that place was a mess!! Left to rot. There are so many other beautiful homes as well...it's sad!
  19. So funny....you got someone I work with playing the piano :)
  20. It is going to be in the far east storefront on the Euclid side I believe. There is a tea place inside.
  21. ^Technically speaking, there are three B Spots downtown, just inside buildings. I recently spoke with business people from Atlanta that knew the B Spot was in the casino and went there just to eat.
  22. FWIW, My roommate works for the casino and a few months ago the tone was "definitely moving forward" and now it's more "might be moving forward". Obviously just heresay, so taken with a grain of salt.
  23. "The hotel will have 206 guest rooms and suites. Starwood said Le Méridien Cleveland also will feature a full-service restaurant, signature bar, a 3,000-square-foot lounge, an indoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center and more than 12,000 feet of meeting and event space. The development also will include 10,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space and a 125-space parking garage." Finally extra rooms and luxury all at the same time. Euclid will definitely be hopping!! More residential should be announced by 2016 to help support more retail as well.
  24. Time for a 24 hour diner! I would be there all the time!
  25. I thought the pics were yours KJP haha. Although missing a bike in a pic is nearly impossible. A bus on the other hand...that's a feat! They don't run often.
