Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
A cool video update they do each month:

Cleveland: Retail News
I'd rather keep all the big box stuff down in that valley...keep downtown and the neighborhoods smaller boutiques.

Cleveland: Downtown: The 9 / Rotunda / County Admin Development
That came across as cryptic. Or are you out of town? I'm moving in November, but I will be admiring from afar and back a few times a year for my culture/restaurant/city fix.

^This!!!!! Although I won't be here to enjoy it :(
-
Cleveland: Hotel Development
What's even worse is trying to find a room when the entire area IS sold out. That happened to me many a time down in St. Augustine.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
I knew about those but didn't realize any had sold! That's happened within the last month or two!

Cleveland: Downtown & Vicinity Residences Discussion
There hasn't been any new construction downtown to get to that number, it's only conversions. We will see what happens with the FEB apartments. So are you saying it won't be the right move to charge $2/sf for the converted apartments downtown? Topic for another thread, but I'd say there's a ways to go. Prices continue to creep up with each new renovation.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
>> I have heard that Ohio City Pasta may make a retail space/bar type place at their current location, which is right next to Mariners place. That would be awesome! I was speaking to one of the tenants of the 'Hingetown' building on the corner of 29th and Detroit, and he said most of the new businesses will be opened in the next few months. The building owner is working on the renovations but they are coming along slowly. The apartments haven't been worked on in a while. He did say they were going to be putting in a courtyard behind the businesses which will open out to the Transformer Station. It will be nice to see the entire northern area cleaned up over the next months. There are still too many break-ins and glass all over the sidewalks going toward W 25th.

Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
We shall see if it's awesome or tacky when they do it; however, the fire was lit today and added quite an ambience with the music playing and that was even during the day...I'll have to swing by one night to see if it's even better.

Cleveland: Hotel Development
I said the same thing to them via Facebook quite a few months ago. They basically said, but wait til you see the inside.

Cleveland: Downtown: May Company Building
I thought there was another food establishment going where Cadillac ranch was?? Owners of the new JQs talked about a concept they were going to put there, no? I thought the new JQ was going where the old John Q's was because I thought I heard talk of a roof top patio. Yes, but they also had an idea for a new establishment in the old Cadillac, completely separate from JQ if I remember correctly from the article. Personally, it sounds like "oh that's a great idea, but you're never going to follow through with it"- type of deals. Especially since Cadillac/barroom is for sale still. Wasn't the talk that it was going to be a Vegas style club by the same group that is doing JQ?

Cleveland: Downtown: The Avenue District
We haven't heard anything official. And yes, you are correct, all of the existing units have been sold and are now occupied. I made a random post on one of their comments on Facebook asking when they'd announce and they said something like...when they have something to announce haha.

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
The most recent one I remember was The Residences at Hanna...an interview with the Leasing Manager. I believe it was in Freshwater.
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Euclid & 9th Tower / Schofield Building Redevelopment
I had the same reaction...WOW!
-
Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
In this rental market in hot areas people are faxing a signed lease sight unseen. Kind of crazy!
-
Cleveland: Cleveland State University: Development and News
They advertise a Chipotle as well in the Scene.
-
Cleveland / Lakewood: The Edge Developments
I couldn't figure out why this sounded so familiar to me...then I remembered it's from Rust Belt Chic (saw it when I opened the link as well). Thanks for posting!

Cleveland: Downtown: East 4th Street Developments
^^The two places just down the street.

Columbus: Downtown: Arena District Developments and News
jjames0408 replied to CMH_Downtown's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionSounds like a good plan! With a little planning, this could be a good way to tie Arena District/AD West/Grandview Yards (I forget what it's called) development together.

Cleveland: Retail News
I assume the Parker Hannifin Y at the Galleria will also have a fitness center Yes, the Y will be moving from its current location on Prospect.

Cleveland: Retail News
I assumed he was speaking of the mailer lol. The club is supposed to be extremely nice and they will be running a special at first for downtown residents to get the word out (from what I've heard by someone who is joining).
-
Cleveland: Cuyahoga County Gov't properties disposition (non-Ameritrust)
Awesome to hear! WHD hasn't had any new apartments in years!
-
Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Some of that plan has evolved, some of it is already in the works and I agree with Whipjacka that a lot will never happen. It is a wonderful idea, but until Cleveland starts growing...there's not enough demand and therefore not as much capital providing the supply.

Cleveland: Downtown: Euclid & 9th Tower / Schofield Building Redevelopment
These probably need moved to the appropriate thread, but depending on how they design apartments/lofts within the building, they may have both front and back windows within the unit. If not, both my building and some of the E4th apartments have interior units with no real view and both are full, so I don't see a big problem there.
