  1. Twelve units are included in phase one: http://townhomesofvanaken.com. I have to go down to my property today anyway so I'll take the square and check it out again at a slower speed.
  2. Have you been by there recently? I drove by quickly yesterday and it seemed all of phase one is being worked on but not positive.
  3. This is exactly the problem. People need to think about the big picture not what "benefits" them. Ultimately, it would benefit every community around Cleveland, but people seem to think short-term and in their bubble.
  4. You were inside I'm guessing :D The kitchen has gotten much, much better. Tomorrow will be a true test.
  5. I can assure you, they get traffic (and a lot of casino traffic as Jack has a voucher program with their comps). It may not be doing as well as other Wahlburgers in cities that lack quality dining options and the kitchen has taken some time to get it together, but they are doing alright so far. Of course, it is most popular when there are games/events. I've heard from multiple people they are waiting until the kitchen has it together to check it out.
  6. Amen to that considering it's just southwest of me.
  7. And another one.... Former nightclub building bought for big Nautica play Real estate developer Jeffrey Jacobs has taken another million-dollar step toward expanding the Nautica Waterfront District beyond its entertainment center roots. Technically, it's a $1.25 million step, as that's the amount that Nautica Entertainment LLC, the name that Jacobs holds west bank properties in, paid on June 1 for the 2325 Elm St. building, according to Cuyahoga County property records. David Grunenwald, vice president of development at Nautica owner Jacobs Investments Inc., said in a June 7 phone interview that the acquisition is "just another step in what we're doing to keep Nautica moving forward." http://www.crainscleveland.com/article/20170611/NEWS/170619964/former-nightclub-building-bought-for-big-nautica-play
  8. ^Speaking of breweries, I had no idea until the other day that another brewery had popped up in that same general area, Noble Beast Brewing Co. http://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2017/01/noble_beast_brewing_co_looks_t.html
  9. Dude, I think this article has gone viral. It's popping up all over my various social media venues. Way to go, Ken! Agreed. A realtor friend of mine sent it. I was like really? Already seen it. Good job Ken!
  10. ^I've been passing that construction for the past two weeks and keep forgetting to snap a pic.
  11. ^^Did a 12 year old write that? I thought it was a joke at first.
  12. To be fair though, that is their typical new store set-up. They like to keep their brands in the same project.
  13. This has to be the slowest-rising six-story building in history. A year later and they still have not fully enclosed the top floor yet. Haha...I was just thinking the same thing. We basically have an entirely new neighborhood a couple of blocks away in the time it's taken this building.

I've always been jealous of Columbus with Nationwide. Always wished one of the big companies/power players did something similar.
  15. I've flown Allegiant and didn't think it was that bad. Now, if it were a longer trip, ehhhhhh.
  16. I guess I don't get the issue with the name? I mean, as long as a restaurant isn't called Garbage: A trashcan eatery, I don't really consider the name of it at all.

    Wow...that was depressing. So sad.
  18. Not exactly understanding this since Cleveland Heights and Lakewood are broken out of Cleveland....but interesting nonetheless. Airbnb stats show Columbus is Ohio's most popular destination, but Cleveland attracts more dollars "Here are the 12 largest Airbnb markets in Ohio for the year: Columbus: 29,000 guests and $3.6 million in host income Cincinnati: 26,000 and $3.2 million Cleveland: 25,000 and $4.2 million Cleveland Heights: 3,000 and $572,000 Toledo: 2,600 and $245,000 Dayton: 2,500 and $330,000 Lakewood: 1,900 and $300,000 Huron: 1,500 and $145,000 Akron: 1,300 and $165,000 Sandusky, 1,200 and $160,000 Athens: 1,200 and $118,000 Port Clinton: 1,100 and $120,000" **forgot the link** http://www.crainscleveland.com/article/20161219/NEWS/161219814/airbnb-stats-show-columbus-is-ohios-most-popular-destination-but#utm_medium=email&utm_source=ccl-realestatereport&utm_campaign=ccl-realestatereport-20161219&email_realestate
  19. I read somewhere Kona Grill is going into Pinecrest.
  20. This site is currently being prepared. Lots of dirt moving around.
  21. ^Right. It stinks bc East Cleveland has POS. They obviously do not have money to enforce it though.
  22. My biggest frustration doesn't have as much to do with OC as the state's willingness to pay hundreds of millions of dollars on road projects and pretty much NOTHING on public transportation.
  23. I looked at an investment property on Hanover but it was land bank and it required very specific reno that I didn't personally agree with. I believe the houses on that street go for 80k+. It's so frustrating because East Cleveland has all of the bones but we can't touch it while it's East Cleveland unless you have enough money to buy and hold.
  24. "Potbelly Sandwich Shop will also continue to operate in the 515 Euclid space. "
  25. And this is FEB X 1000.
