  1. More updates from yesterday: IMG_2504 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr IMG_2503 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr IMG_2505 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr
  2. ^^Except when it has ketchup and mustard stains on it and I get turned away from a place wearing a $70 tank top...makes you wonder about dress codes.
  3. In essence it is, but legally it's probably not. The clevebomb commenters are out in full force...riff-raff and thugs pretty much describes the posters.
  4. The green on the building is the best part of it. We need more projects with greenery. I think that is a gorgeous landscape design the stairs don't bother me at all....the moss on the building is lame though...
  5. If they can pull it off...it would be a jumpstart needed for the neighborhood
  6. ^I was wondering the same looking at the read more books redevelopment that won funds as well.
  7. There is so much potential for this city!! So glad it's finally being realized little by little.
  8. Haven't you heard? Dollar stores replaced drug stores as the most plentiful retail establishments sometime last year.
  9. Waverly Station has begun to dig. I'm going to email them to see if the garages in the front with the current set-up are set in stone. I'm really interested in them, but that one thing is a deal breaker!
  10. If Beachwood became part of Cleveland, I'd probably still not set foot there. The traffic is disgusting and has nothing to really offer me besides a headache. With that said, possibly with more density they would be forced to come up with alternatives to driving...eyes rolling.
  11. So as I was looking for a pic of Cumberland Falls, I found my pic of the Doan school renovation...looks great!: IMG_2454 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr
  12. Very nice!!
  13. It's funny...throw some smiling faces, trash clean-up and add new attractions to lure people in and all of the sudden people aren't as abrasive to downtown. This shift has really happened in the past year...think of what will happen over the next few years. Very cool!
  14. It's a shady store for sure (hahaha) but the people that live around there still go for quick things. It's kind of the same scenario as a suburbanite scared to go to the big city, but then once they go and realize it's not so bad, all is well.
  15. Well if they have snap peas at the urban farm we could call it 'drive by snappings' and be in the clear!
  16. No problem...I can't wait to get my bike in a couple weeks to do some true exploring...it's difficult to snap quick pics in a car.
  17. Thanks Clueless!! I like the more "unknown or unspoken" developments....very much appreciated!
  18. I did hear that 60% of the first phase is already leased...the majority of which are University Circle employees ...and even that was a couple weeks ago, so may be nearly sold out.
  19. They are using Pella Windows...that doesn't sound very slumish hahaha
  20. One of the urban farms look to be well under way at Kinsman/55th/Woodland: IMG_2466 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr Here are updated shots of St Luke's Manor: IMG_2465 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr IMG_2464 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr IMG_2461 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr
  21. Here are some Tremont developments: Just behind the new mega contemporary home built on W 11th...4 units are planned http://www.progressiveurban.com/p/259/3274813 Here is the lot IMG_2467 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr This store front on W 14th in the strip beside Bac is finally renovated and is now for rent: IMG_2470 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr Across the way looks like a spot for another home: IMG_2468 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr There are quite a few new builds on 11th. A few streets over, Bergen Village on City View Drive, has been selling well and is filling in. There are quite a few new builds outside of the development also on W 5th. 22. The road and infrastructure work is nearly complete for Morgana Run's 100 home phase one...it will be nice to see this area start to come back as it is one of my favorite neighborhoods that is not in the limelight: IMG_2473 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr IMG_2472 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr Was everyone aware of the Hyacinth lofts? When I was looking for apartments they had one advertised at 1100 per month: IMG_2471 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr
  23. Work has started...I didn't even realize it was the spot until I was too far for a good picture but... IMG_2474 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr
  24. More work going on at the power plant site...hopefully we will see some kind of updates soon to see what exactly this thing will add/detract IMG_2458 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr Quick shot of Circle East IMG_2459 by lilblondiecan2003, on Flickr And apparently the spillover is slowly happening...looks like the gas station just east on Euclid is being rehabbed...
