Cleveland: Downtown: East 4th Street Developments
I've been in three times and purchased once. The pricepoint is similar to Banana Republic, but all products are made in America. The higher the pricepoint, the lower the traffic. Based on my experience of retail and what I've seen with no marketing, they are doing very well. A lot of merchandise is sold down/sold out since I was there on the second day of business and Saturday night and the store was packed at 9:30 pm. Word will continue getting out and I feel the store will be an example for future downtown entrepreneurs'.

Not sure if this is the proper place or not....but Columbus based Torso opened a shop up beside big fun...soft opening on Monday. Good selection of mens clothing and underwear and small women's section and a new yogurt place is going in beside Liquid Planet. A lot of new shops opening up in this neighborhood!

The store is beautiful, Danielle is awesome, and I'm so thankful to have a nice place to shop downtown...bought a short and tee combo today for an event! Let's keep the retail coming!! Danielle did say sales have been great last night and today (around 3) and she was glad she hasn't advertised as they are still working kinks out. Grand opening and party 7/8

Cleveland: Downtown: Wendy Park
Awesome!! I was just asking someone the other day what happened with this! I wasn't aware of the other bridges...very good for the walkability of university circle in that area...the amount of cars on all those streets make it very unfriendly for walking. Love the design as well...the bridge in Greenville is quite nice!!!

Cleveland: East Side Neighborhood Development
I don't think many people know of the magnitude of these developments. They go from about E66 to the E30's and about 2-3 block wide. Here are a few pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jjames0408/5439404265/#in/set-72157625909416775/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/jjames0408/5440008094/#secret6064935569in/set-72157625909416775/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/jjames0408/5439401707/#in/set-72157625909416775/ Considering the properties in this area before, massive improvement!

On the way to Rite Aid today I saw a sign for Shoreway Commerce Park around E72/St Clair, so I did a little digging: http://nationaldevelopmentcouncil.org/index.php/site/programs-detail/shoreway_commerce_park_bringing_industry_back/ I haven't seen anything on UO about this.

Cleveland: I-77 & Pershing Industrial Park Site
I cannot find any information at all on this, but around 77 and Brecksville/Canal Rd there is a large factory expanding. The steel beams are up and it looks kind of large. It's not the area around Heidtman...it's further south. Anyone know anything about this???
