Cleveland: Downtown: Euclid & 9th Tower / Schofield Building Redevelopment
Has anyone been by the Schofield Building during the day and noticed any further activity ?? I've passed the building a couple of times in the evenings on my way home from work, and it doesnt look like much is going on.

I heard that in Gilbert's interview yesterday as well. It reminded me of an article & video that was online a while ago. It mostly shows Phase II, but that corner does have a "Mini-Times Square" look/feel to it. Early Look at Cleveland Casino Video http://www.clevescene.com/

It is a big sign, but I like it, better than just looking at the side of the parking garage. I also agree that it may fit into the area a bit better as Phase II is built. But it sort of helps "move" the feel of that area towards an entertainment area that has a 24 hour casino.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
There's another couple floors of steel being installed up top and another row of glass along the bottom. It's looking better each day.  http://www.flatseast.com/webcam.htm

I finally got a chance to check out the link to the St. Louis citygarden. Very nice. I would think that at least a couple of similar items could/should be incorporated into the MM/CC mall area. I especially like the stone wall with the TV in it and some of the large artwork that's in place. Maybe the Cavs/Browns/Indians could fund a similar TV here, that would draw people into the mall throughout the year to watch the games.

So, here's a pic from today from the FEB webcam. It shows a new section of crane being lifted and that they're already installing the 3rd row of windows/facade. http://www.flatseast.com/webcam.htm

Here's a few pics of the construction from the FEB facebook page. They're a couple of weeks old, but still worth posting. http://www.facebook.com/FlatsEastBank#!/FlatsEastBank- Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Excuses...excuses. To the gallows with you! +1 :-D- Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
I'm sure it'll look different / better when the glass is installed. Not sure how accurate these renderings are, but I could see that blue glass making a nice difference in the look. http://www.nicholsonconstruction.com/news/articles/clevelandMedicalMart.aspx- Cleveland: Innerbelt News
I got a few pics of the Inner Belt bridge progress as I was driving thru the area over the weekend.- Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Here's a few pics of the MM from this past weekend.- Cleveland: Flats East Bank
Here's a few pics of the FEB site that I got over the weekend. Think the building is gonna look pretty good as more and more of the windows/facade are installed.- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I'm not sure of the specifics, but arent there some issues with building on the Burke site because it was some sort of a landfill?? If that's the case, then what can really be "built" there on that site anyways?? So if we cant build on the airport site, then we might as well just focus on the areas around the airport.- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
As more changes are made to downtown (more condos & apartments, MM & Convention Center and its out of town hotel visitors, etc.) I could see a demand for something similar to the outdoor movies in the near future. Seems like a good way to draw people into downtown or draw people that are downtown out into the city. It could be combined with the outdoor concerts. One week a movie, the next a concert, the next a movie ... - Cleveland: Flats East Bank
