This question should be on the lips of every Cincinnati streetcar system supporter: Also, let's call it the "Cincinnati streetcar system" from now on. That gives a longer term, fuller description of what some like to dismiss as a "little trolley project".

I'm actually not a fan of towers. Sears would be smarter to buy a few blocks in OTR and make their HQ there. :laugh:

Is this still the case: "The Business Courier recently reported that Ohio Gov. John Kasich was working with Western & Southern Financial Group CEO John Barrett to lure an Illinois company to Cincinnati." It'd be amazing to have Sears in Cincinnati, especially if it reinvented itself. And though I hate the "corporate extortion" thing, it's nice to see Ohio fighting back in an aggressive way. The NCR deal was not aggressive at all. Georgia sniped them, plain and simple. Maybe Sears would build a new tallest tower in Cincy?

Something's fishy. The Wellington Ritz Theatre gained over 200 votes between the hours of 10pm and 430am last night. And they gained less than 5 facebook likes. Does that seem weird to anyone else but me? OTR is far and away the winner when it comes to facebook likes and a close second (had it not been for the mysterious 200 votes last night).

As Cygnus explained, I cancel my vote for OTR then vote for a competitor then cancel and put my vote back in for OTR.

Nice pretty quotes on politicians pages mean nothing- THEIR quotes are all that matter. PG has yet to say the sentence, "I support the Cincinnati Streetcar" no matter who asks him. Exactly. That's why the first half of my post that you quoted was: If Sittenfeld doesn't support the streetcar, I won't support him.

Great. Now, which camp does Sittenfeld (and others?) want to join? Lippert told Dan Hurley that he might have supported the streetcar "10 years ago" or "when the budget was better"...something to that effect. :roll:

The sooner streetcar supporters know which candidates actually support the streetcar and progress (as opposed to giving it lip service), the sooner donations and support can start flowing in the right direction. I don't know what the rankings will look like in 12 days but I hope if it's obvious either Cleveland or OTR won't win, we can help each other pull into first for Ohio's sake.

While I really believe OTR really deserves to win, I'd love for Ohio to sweep the top three or at least top two.
