If you are even comparing Brady Quinn with Andrew Luck than you must know NOTHING about the game. There were a lot of questions about Quinn entering the NFL, that is why so many GM's passed on him. Nobody will pass on Luck, he will be the #1 pick without question. And ND faced a harder schedule than a team in the PAC-10? I'd beg to differ about that. Quinn played Ohio State in that one bowl game and looked pretty average. The main thing about Quinn was because he was coming out of ND and he played in a pro style offense and Weiss sang his praises. That's about all I ever heard. There is not one single expert that believes Luck will be anything less than an elite QB once he enters the NFL.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
I heard a while back that the auto show has little chance at going to the new convention center. I'm pretty sure part of it is because they have those areas where you can test drive some of the cars, that would be nearly impossible downtown. I wish they'd move it down there though, it would be nice to jump on the rapid instead of having to drive out to the IX center, I go to the auto show every year, and it's just about the only thing like that I go to.

You could easily see the progress from my seats in the dawg pound at the Browns game. I wanted to take the waterfront line to the stadium because it takes you right by it, but we just walked from Tower City instead.

Watching SportsNation right now and heard for the first time the term "Suck for Luck" describing teams that are playing bad so they can draft him. People are so creative. You've never heard of the suck for Luck campaign? I'm nearly 110% sure that's what Indy is doing right now. They have too much talent to be playing as badly as they are right now. This is what I WISH the Browns would do.

Yeah, bad calls happen to and for a team all the time. There's no excuse for the poor tackling and the outright lack of speed this team has. Our weak points as a team are our age at LB, This means that those drag routes by the TE's or RB's should draw special attention from safeties or they need to start playing the nickle on basic sets in order to make up for this. There are adjustments that can be made and that would be made by a good coach. And not to be angry and hateful, but I really do HATE it when people play the "if" card. "IF" the Browns didn't give up that pick 6 and IF the Browns didn't try that trick play and IF the Browns didn't try a stupid misdirection play on a 4th and 1. IF IF IF....How about IF the Browns were a real NFL team with NFL talent we may have a shot at beating someone someday? But to be honest, this loss is a good thing, that's just one more loss to go towards what our ultimate goal should be, and that's to draft Andrew Luck in the draft next year. Are we even sure that Luck is the best thing for the Browns?? Yes he is a great college QB, but there are a good number of those that never amount to anything in the NFL. The Browns need a playmaking WR (Little's good, but not Calvin/Andre Johnson good) like Blackmon. That is who they should be targeting in next years draft. If they draft Luck he is still going to have the same crappy WRs to throw to. After WR, target LB and CB along with OL and DL depth. There are plenty of pieces on this team. Just not enough to make a difference yet. I was all for us taking Julio Jones in the draft to give Colt some weapons, so I'm 100% with you that we need a playmaker at that position. BUT, Luck is good enough to make mediocre recievers better, that's what great QB's do. Aaron Rogers, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning...they've all made decent WR's look far better than they ever were. Besides, if we get the #1 pick and take Luck, the way Atlanta is playing, we may end up with a top 15 pick from them, this will give us a great chance to take a top tier WR in this draft. So we can end up with our QB and WR of the future. As for the bust QB's coming out, look at most of the recent picks. Newton, Bradford, Stafford. All those guys are living up to and or exceeding expectation. Andrew Luck is as big of a sure thing as any player in history. He can make all the NFL level throws, he's as NFL ready as any QB coming out since Peyton Manning.

I was in the dawg pound this last game, and every single person around me agreed with how god awful we are. 95% of our roster would be picked up? Really? Just goes to show how much you really know about football, which is basically nothing. Maybe you've been watching another sport and you're a bit confused.

Yes, we're slow and an awful team. You explained away the reason why we gave up a boat load of points but you spoke nothing about why our offense couldn't get past the 50. Just curious about where we're going to pick up another 5 wins. We still have 4 games against the Steelers and Ravens, that's 4 L's right there. Then we have the Cardinals on the road, Texans, Raiders in Oakland... I see us as having a great shot at beating the Seahawks and the Rams if they are still as banged up as they are now. Those are the only two games I can really see us winning. We may squeak out a lucky win like we did against Miami but I doubt it. That leaves us at 4-12 to 5-11. We have a horrible front office that is the most overrated thing I've seen. Shurmer isn't head coach material and I see him being let go the year that Holmgren gets out after collecting his last fat paycheck from that idiot owner of ours.

BULL....I had some guy attacking me on here, once I said something back I got kicked off. Did that other guy get booted? I highly doubt it. And this last time I did nothing but say that I enjoy laughing at some posters on here and I got kicked off again. All because I called you guys out for having your little favorites. Like I said a million times, you guys take this WAYYYYY too seriously. It's a site that people talk about stuff being built around Ohio, it's not really heavy duty talk going on here. But you guys act like we're trying to cure cancer around here. Anyway, does anyone want to still deny that the Browns will be lucky to pull out 5 wins this season?

The good thing was that my seats in the dawg pound were in perfect view of the FEB construction, they really are moving along on that tower. Looking good.

You know it's a great game when you are pretty much forced to leave at halftime. The best part was that the rapid was pretty full with Browns fans. This team isn't worth the time, I said they were going win 4 games and I was attacked and suspended for it. I guess the homers on this site who think the Browns are still the Bees knees will have to think again. I just hope that fluke Miami win last week doesn't come back to haunt us when we try to replace that bum McCoy with Andrew Luck at draft time.

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
A stadium would be better than the giant RTA stop that public square is today. If they could build an underground bus terminal or buy that parking lot from Jacobs and build an above ground, indoor bus terminal, that would free up public square for whichever design they choose to take on.

Wouldn't the port moving mean displacing that nature preserve? If that's the case I'm all for the port staying right where they're at.

Homer alert, homer alert. And I could care less who gets more snaps in Houston, Vickers is widely known as a top 5 FB and considered by many to be the best. I realize that we got rid of him because of his role in the WCO would have to be more of a receiver option. But with a Jeff Garcia esq QB and a lack of talented WR's, we needed to focus on our running game for at least one more year. It's the blind support the Browns have received for all these years that has caused us to suck for so long. A real fan stops buying their merch, stops going to the games and lashes out at the crap they put out year after year. Lerner only cares about his bank account, if that gets hurt then, and only then will he start to give a damn.
