  1. IMO, if retail is going to work downtown they cannot target the crowd that DU did. It is too small of a demographic in CLE, especially at those prices.
  2. We finally grabbed OUr first bowl win, now OUr hoops team is 11-1 and could very well be ranked in the Top 25 in the next two weeks. It's a great time to be a Bobcat! ALSO, Ohio is finally putting Gary Trent up in the rafters later this month at halftime of the Miami game. This team+the Shaq of the MAC+Miami game=SELLOUT. Get your tickets now... The Convo is going to be rocking!! http://www.ohiobobcats.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/113011aaa.html
  3. On pace to open in 2013. Still working on fundraising though.. http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2011/07/the_euclid_beach_carousel_what.html
  4. What is there to a city besides parking? Cleveland nearly has Disney World beat... Now we're trying to ruin that!
  5. I saw MGK perform live at one of the rowdy fests in Athens this spring. He has a heck of a stage presence. I'd argue his live performance ability exceeds his rap ability. I hope he makes it big, absolutely love 'Cleveland.' I think he is a lot more loyal to Cleveland than Kid Cudi is, but we'll have to wait and see after MGK really takes off nationally.
  6. Stewart Street has seen a couple pretty high density apartment buildings go up within the last 2 years. The entire west side (the side closer to Court Street) of the street is now 3 or 4 story multi-unit buildings. The other side of the street has a few big, new apartment buildings; still quite a few houses on that side that could be razed to accommodate more buildup.
  7. Ohio has a JOKE schedule this year... Add that with as good of a team as we've had under Frank, and we could very well see a 10+ win season.
  8. UA has the arena in their plans, and I believe an architecture firm in Cleveland already has preliminary drawings done. Now obviously fundraising is a huge issue, but I think this happens sooner then some on here think.
