  1. I doubt anyone from Rock-Ohio-Ceasars reads this forum, but I really think they should look at converting the May Company into a garage. Its just as close, and an aerial walkway would be less intrusive midblock. The building is 180'x400' with visible light penetrating 30' from prospect and Euclid. At ten stories thats 600,000 square feet of unusable space that could be converted to parking... enought for 2,000 vehicles. That would allow the commercial redevelopment of two corners of the intersection; creating that "times square" experience they are after. Trying to win the argument from a historic preservation standpoint is futile, because they will just say you are afraid of change. You need to show them that there is a better way to meet their needs without compromising the integrity of the streetscape at Prospect and Ontario.
