  1. "Infrastructure like this is the difference between being Cleveland and being Toledo." What is that supposed to mean? Toledo has concert and event venues. So Toledo and Cleveland were the same place until Gund Arena opened? I hope I don't sound too offended but Clevelanders should know using another city with a negative connotation is problematic and I can't not mention it. If I said "Infrastructure like this is the difference between being Columbus and being Cleveland" wouldn't you be a little annoyed?
  2. About a year back, packos was supposed to make drive thru locations in certain areas of the city.. haven't heard much on that in a while.. Well now that you mention it.. http://www.13abc.com/content/news/The-Andersons-to-close-all-four-retail-stores-in-Ohio--410785095.html 'Packo's is buying the former Del Taco property on Secor Road and converting it to their first ever drive-though location.'
  3. Except he is in the Museum. He is also a block away selling autographs on induction weekends. If anything, Cooperstown might need little less Pete Rose.
  4. On June 27th, ProMedica will buy the land from Dashing Pacific. They will then sell it to the Metroparks. http://www.toledoblade.com/local/2016/06/08/ProMedica-plans-to-buy-much-of-Marina-District-in-East-Toledo.html
  5. For the first time in 120 years, there are not two smokestacks in downtown Toledo (for the most part). They took down one of them today. I didn't get any pictures until it was about halfway done. From the Marina District From International Park They took down another section while I crossed the river (I didn't notice as it happened as I was on my bike)
  6. Yes. It's open. I was there for an event in the fall. There is still work being down, but the marquee is up, the lobby was pretty much finished, the theater pretty much just needed some paint. It's near the end of the second phase of the renovation right now.
  7. No Updates. A bike trail connection to the GL Museum from the Craig Bridge Trail is under construction right now (it used to end at the sidewalk). That is unrelated to Dashing Pacific, who isn't going to do anything. In the deal from 2011, the city can buy it back for the same price it sold it for after July 1, 2016 (until July 1, 2017) if there hasn’t been “substantial” development. There will not be any development before then. Dashing Pacific have been trying to sell it. The city will buy it back and then more nothing will happen for awhile until they find someone else to buy it or parts of it. Those are all alternates from the outdoor games (two home games and a alumni game against Fort Wayne) at Fifth Third Field in 2014-15. These are the standard home and away: And the alternates they wear the most: Though I would say they've worn about 50 different jerseys
  9. The asbestos was removed from the Fiberglas Tower years ago.
