  1. I'm in the minority and am glad to see them go. The possibilities for our Lakefront are endless. The Haslams are giving us a gift. Stop whining and take it.
  2. How about development around a central park. We could have our own Central Park on the water
  3. How about a new pocket downtown area similar to Circle Square. If Burke is closing, they could build taller buildings without the current hight restrictions. The sky is the limit for the area. I think something special can be built there.
  4. I'd love it if they built a downtown concert hall for the Cleveland Orchestra and other musical groups.
  5. Oh and btw, I'm sure the developers don't care what goes there as long as they get paid. What gets build is going to be there for years to come. Don't let them build an eye sore.
  6. "Not bad" is not something I'd want a visitor or potential transplant to say for a building in a primo area of our city. I'd much prefer, "Wow, look at that building!" or, "I wonder if those are apartments. I'm going to inquire." or even, "That's a really unique building!". NOT "Eh, whatever."
  7. Exactly my point, thank you. Building a drap, uninspiring building for an increasingly up and coming area is stupid. Cleveland knows better and should DO better. I suggest dropping this mistake of a development and wait for a better opportunity.
  8. Wow. How....disappointing. This wouldn't fly in a city that actually respected itself.
  9. Where are people going to park that want to visit the park when it's done?? I wonder if parking will be charged.
  10. A really stupid idea to move the stadium onto Burke Airport land. Like another poster has stated, rebuild it where it is if the lakefront is where the stadium needs to be.
  11. Hope this is a successful venture and doesn't turn into another failed project al la Medical Mart.
  12. I second this. This is a HUGE HUGE win for Cleveland. It's going to be exciting to see the coming transformations of our Lakefronts!
  13. A missed opportunity once again done Cleveland-styte.
  14. Whatever they potentially build on the lakefront, it should be usable all year round. Think east bank of the flats, but on a much larger and grander scale. They must think hard as to what they decide to build there as it may be the city’s most prime piece of land.
  15. The second tower should stay similar to the primary tower with a slight variation. They need to relate to each other.
