the Flats East Bank cam is up and running now!

I have to agree with FitzGerald. I dont like the Lakefront plan at all! The whole plan looked messy and not very connected. Burke and the Port really are preventing anything worth the while as far as development goes. I feel it was a huge mistake to put Burke on the lakefront for sure. I also hope that the Port decides to let the flats east bank project expand northward so that it is ACTUALLY touching the lake....If thats not possible, then whats the point of the Lakefront plan?

450,000 square foot building would be awesome! I think it would add so much to our skyline. Why CANT they build it? 1. 5 Parking garage levels 2. 10 Office space levels 3. 15 Apartment/Condo leves. It really sounds like they are lazy and want to do the bare minimum; which is Cleveland's problem anyways. LAZYness. EVERYONE knows that Cleveland is on a comeback! The Medical Mart, Casino 1 & 2, Flats, and now the Lakefront plan?! I don't see why there wouldn't be a need for the space two to three years from now. Cleveland will be a changed city for the better by then. That building would be in the center of all the action! Shame on them for NOT thinking about the FUTURE GROWTH of Cleveland. They seem to be stuck on the now!

I have some problems with this plan... 1. Why is the development on Burke airport land NOT being expanded north so that it actually touches Lake Erie??? 2. By the looks of the drawings, it looks like the areas that are going to be developed look over populated with too many building with no sense of connection. 3. It doesnt seem like the plan includes much more lakefront space, besides the space north of the Browns Stadium. Its all glitz and glam to cover up the fact that we really aren't gaining much more lakefront land. Opinion 1.Tear down the Browns Stadium to make room for more lakefront development. 2. Build more office buildings on the Port like Flats East Bank height or higher along with mixed use development and port activity.

I just know the Port of Cleveland is going to clash with the lakefront development for sure. The Flats East Bank should extend north towards the lake in order for it connect more with the lakefront/lakefront plan. We all know THATS prob. not going to happen. The Burke airport is always going to be a waste of space. Its really too bad.

Has anyone figured out how tall the building is going to be? I have been hearing 380ft? I hope its quite a bit taller than the Pinnacle building...

Hey does anyone know what they are doing in that building on the West side of W. 25th street next to Lutherin Hospital on Vestry Rd.? I think it used to be a hardware or lumber store?

Do any of you think that Cleveland will build that final skyscraper (to complete Public Square) on the western part of Public Square anytime soon? I hope it's at least as big as the Terminal Tower....

Where were the Flats East Bank developers when this was going on??? Duh!? I think the Port needs to at least become mixed use. Why even build a Class A office tower (or any other buildings on the Flats East Bank) if they are just going to end up just south of a dump that is the Port of Cleveland. I say scrap the Port's plan and start over! Who wants an office building with views of an ugly port?? Not me!

Why does no one know the height of the building? I have even gone to the website for the Flats project and inquired (3 times), but no one has gotten back to me...whats going on?? Do they not even know?

Does anyone know what is to become of the building next to the Medical Mart? Do you think they will eventually build a hotel? What do you all think of the design of the Medical Mart? Why do we not have a video representation of the MedMart like Nashville?

Does anyone know how tall/high the new Flats office building will be? I need an actual measurement. We need to fill in those parking lots near the warehouse district with some towers. I wish we could have a couple more skyscrapers. One taller than the Key Tower and one in between the heights of the Key Tower and BP. I see way too many gaps in our skyline.

Does anyone know how tall the Office building in the flats will be? We need taller buildings in Cleveland.
