Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
I'd rather have a dense, mixed use community without the stadium. I hope they move.

Hilton 2.0 in the distance

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
SW basically used the Hilton hotel design. Too bad because it was a missed opportunity to make something truly original.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I wish they went taller with the SW tower. It just doesn't look like it matches the scale of the other three buildings from a distance.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
What is going on at the top of the tower? The steel looks like its different. Is that the beginning of the slope portion of the tower?

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
From a distance, it looks way shorter than 200 Public Square, but close up, it looks pretty tall. The difference in height between Erie View tower and SW seems like a lot on paper, but it really isn't that much taller. It looks like Erie View would top out just below the last level of steel (which looks higher than all the other levels.

The SW tower is barely taller than the Erieview tower. It doesn't look like its going to be as tall as I thought it was going to be when its finished.

How much taller is the SW building compared to the Erieview Tower? Erieview looks like its a taller building even though its not.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
I've been thinking about the height issue. As far as massing, to me it makes sense for a taller building. Why? The building bookends the Irishtown Bend park. What an amazing site would it be to look up from the park at a more substantial building rising from behind the bridge. The other reason is that the building is a gateway for the Flats, Hingetown AND downtown. The building needs to make a statement BECAUSE of its location. To not do so would be a wasted opportunity.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
The problem is that 99.9% of people are not going to think "Wow, those arches sure remind me of the Veteran Memorial bridge!" The idea is crazy and they need to start over again from scratch because the design sucks.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
I'd rather wait. They need to go back to the drawing board because this will be a HUGE mistake if it is built.

Oh Hell no! This project needs to die.

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Cleveland needs to get it's act together. Cleveland isn't Sarasota or San Diego. It's northern city in a northern state with horrible winters that last for months. We need real designers that actually know how to develop with common sense. First thing they need to do is get rid of the stadium as it takes up too much space and is an eyesore.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
I'll be cynical for you because apparently I'm pretty good at it on here! 🤣 Here it comes.....Why did the designers not follow the DNA pattern for the addition? I think it looks off and doesn't match the rest of the building.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
What can I say, I have high standards. Not everyone can meet me at my level. 😁

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Thanks for the article, Ken. However, I think this is a HUGE design fail for Cleveland.

Cleveland: Downtown: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Expansion
Either tear down the old Rock Hall build this or don't build this new addition at all. The two do not match. The old Rock Hall is dated and needs to be rebuilt.

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
So is the Browns stadium staying? I can't help but think not moving is a missed opportunity. It's really too bad if they don't. The land bridge is a horrible idea. People will be committing suicide on it.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
Where are they coming up with these awful designs? The actual apartment building somehow looks even worse! And the vines on the garage? That's an obvious copout.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
This is HORRIBLE news. Get that monstrosity off of the Lakefront! I'm soo pissed right now.
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
It doesn't complement the other buildings either.
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I'm grateful that we are getting a new super-tall on PS. However, I can't help but feel a little upset as to the design choice. It does not IMO complement the other three buildings and looks like it will sick out like a sore thumb. I just wish SH and the designers took more time to try and figure out ways to help the building blend in with the rest better.

Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News
I'm sorry, but I can't help but think those apartments already look dated. Such a lost opportunity to build something great. They might want to also think about cleaning that muddy and gross-looking water.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I don't like the layout at all. They just need to make the whole strip into a riverside park. No need for weirdly placed buildings. Focus on more of the empty parking lots further inland, not on the riverside.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Irishtown Bend Park
I don't like the idea at all. Why can't they bring back street cars or keep the idea as a bike/running path?? I could see it lit up at night with real funky colors that people could enjoy from miles away.
