Question: The SW headquarters were already here. What I don't get is why no one cared about it until they decided to keep their headquarters here in Cleveland? Then all of a sudden, Cleveland gets tons of attention in the news along with new interested developers. Where were the developers before?? Can someone explain this to me?

Cleveland: Downtown: Magellan-Weston project
Why don't they build further west of the SW lot? There are plenty of empty lots that should be able to be filled in the warehouse district area.

Cleveland: Downtown: Magellan-Weston project
That building is going to have very ugly views of the courthouse. They need to tear that building down and rebuild it. Not the kind of views I would expect from a 5-star hotel room.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
I think the design is very cold and uninviting.

KJP, what three towers were you eluding to in your article? Any news on any new skyscraper buildings?
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
We need the last open space filled with a tower that is at least as tall as Erieview tower. Otherwise, the skyline will be lopsided. I'd rather have an empty parking lot than a building that screws up our skyline. I'd rather wait for another building that can do the site justice. Just my opinion.

I really can't see the Cleveland Planning Commission allowing a 30-story building to be built right on Public Square. The whole idea is not in good taste, not to mention how out of place it would look next to the three other buildings on the square. If they wanted to build a 30 story building, they should have chosen the Bedrock site or whatever it is, not Public Square.

Wow! amazing! I'm really liking the building...a lot!

I am upset about the 30 stories deal. How lame is that? However, I AM excited overall about how transformative this is going to be for Cleveland.

Is the mystery project bigger than SHW? How would that even be possible unless it was Amazon or some HUGE corporation?- Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
Yeah, why can't you share it, KJP?- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Building anything on Public Square; especially the Weston lot, should be be required to have a presence in the skyline (even from a distance). Building anything less than that will screw up our skyline for sure. I'd rather have nothing built there than have a building that sticks out like a sore thumb because it doesn't match the height of the three other buildings.- Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
Does anyone have any pictures of the options?- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Does Vocom even have experience building skyscrapers? I looked at the website and didn't see any.- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
