Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
When is that going to happen?

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Has it topped out yet?

Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
What could even be built at that location? The surrounding traffic is awful there and does not seem to be pedestrian friendly.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I wonder if the tower will be mostly concrete with a glass wall on one side or something like that. It will have to blend in well with the other two towers or else it won't look right.

Please tell me it's not on the river...that its on Weston lot or warehouse areaaaa!!!

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I thought it was going to be 40 stories?

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I'm hoping SHW chooses the Weston lot. I think the 40 story tower will look awkward on the riverfront. I'm voting for Weston.

Kinda wish they would change the design. I still don't like the blank wall facing the south or the height. Will have to see how the colors turn out though.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I REALLY hope SW stays in Cleveland. I don't think the city would ever be able to recover if they leave.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
I still don't like the building. However, I will say it has a night reflective effect during the evening hours.

Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News
I find the updated design uninspiring and boring. I am surprised, especially since Sherwin Williams is playing on building their new headquarters in the downtown area. They better step up the design because Cleveland is on the up and up and we don't need uninspiring developments right now.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
For a pretty bland building. A match made in heaven...eyeroll*

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
I wonder what Playhouse Square executives and Cleveland Planning Commission are thinking about the design chose right now.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
It wouldn't be soo bad if the white strips where on opposite sides. Unfortunately, they aren't (which doesn't make sense to me, personally). I am disappointed in their lack of judgement this time and expect that they will make better design decisions in the future.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Got this off the Playhouse Square website. The pattern (from left to right) is 1,2,3,2,"1" but the "1" is where the balconies are...so there technically isn't a "1"

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Honestly, I just wish that they left the original design alone. I will wait to make my own final decision when the building is complete. Maybe they have something up their sleeves...so there IS that??

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Where does it go 4,3,2,1? On the original render, yes, but not on what is actually being built.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
I don't get who thought adding the lines would add architectural detail to the design. It wouldn't be soo bad if there were maybe four vertical lines on all sides of the building to give it a cohesive look, but no. It's like they were like "hmmm lets put a line here.....here...this place looks ok...oh, and one here. Looks good enough. Resubmit it."
-
Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
There isn't even a pattern to the lines on the front of the building. If I were to see the building the first time, I know I would be distracted by the lines. Why? Because they don't make any sense and there is no pattern to them....making the building look like a 70's-inspired glass monolith.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
I agree...it seems like a negligent afterthought.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
I live in Tampa, but regularly follow up on the construction goings-on in Cleveland (my home town). Anyways, can anyone explain to me the point of the long vertical stripes on the building? I can't judge them in person as I am in Florida. However, does anyone (who has seen the building in person) let me know if they actually look good or just as bad as they do in the pictures? Thanks!

Cleveland: Downtown: Realife skyscraper
We really need to even out the skyline. There are no skyscrapers on the west side of downtown at all
-
Cleveland: Downtown: The Beacon
Does anyone know if the balcony level is going to have the two white strips light up at night still?
-
Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Those white stripes on the building are ruining it for me...what a bad idea.

Wow, what a mistake if these get built. Its like these developers could care less about our city. I live in Tampa now and you should the amazing growth and beautiful buildings being built here
