  1. Can’t let pesky things like facts get in the way of a good “woe is Cleveland” narrative
  2. I don’t give a DAMN how many companies the city poaches from the suburbs. They’ve been doing it to us for years. Unlike some around here I didn’t grow up in the suburbs and moved to Cleveland later in life. I’m a born and raised clevelander and I saw what they did. I saw the flight, the decay. And I remember how they would steal from us and brag about it. So forgive me if I don’t shed a single tear about the city taking businesses back now that the city is hot again. I don’t give a DAMN
  3. Yeah let’s take valuable lakefront property that people are willing to cut their arms off to live in and let’s not allow anybody to live there. Tf? 🙄
  4. I think it’s straight up trash to act like @KJPis a click chaser. That’s garbage. He’s broken enough big news around here to earn some damn respect and the benefit of the doubt. No one is perfect, but KJP has built capital around here because he’s been right more often than not. So either start your own outlet or stop whining. I don’t know KJP personally, but I’m not gonna let y’all just insult his credibility like that. Stop it
  5. I want everybody to remember these posts when it gets built. Don’t let them run away from it. When it gets built, you need to “keep that same energy” as the kids say
  6. Also, since there’s an “airmall” in most airports (including Hopkins) can’t we have some variation of that in this? It’ll be a major transit hub, I would think it would make a lot of sense to have a version of the airmall concept here
  7. @KJPwhere does Bedrock and the city stand on the idea of bringing all of this to tower city? I think it’s a GREAT idea and it’s a game changer.
  8. Even that retail is better than none. I’d take it
  9. @KJPcould something like this breathe life back into retail at Tower City or is that too far gone as far as the change in direction
  10. The grocer in the rendering looked like an Aldi so I could see that
  11. Pretty amazing to me that some apparently would rather the property stay vacant. I hope the development gets done
  12. Exactly. Folks in the city like national retailers too and I’d rather have people spending that money in the city limits. And what’s there right now is literally nothing so I say go for it
  13. I like it personally 🤷‍♂️ I definitely think it’ll be good for the area over there. While I would’ve preferred it to be more “lifestyle center”ish, it’s still a good thing for the area
  14. Too many opportunities for shenanigans
  15. This is exciting! I hope it’s a lifestyle center. This space has real potential
  16. Lmao 😂😂😂
  17. And who are the other HQs @KJP?!?
  18. What?! That would be huge. Are they looking at moving downtown?
  19. There’s always someone waiting to pee in the punch bowl. Smh. I think most rational people understood why @KJPput those firms in that article, because they’re actively making moves that would justify being in said article
  20. What a freakin cool idea! I definitely hope that happens
  21. I can’t stress enough how big of a deal them moving downtown is. Especially for the cool factor and relevance factor. There are times where they bring in celebrity artists to do small performances at the studios, not to mention their own celebrity talent. Geraldo is on WTAM. And Rover is syndicated with WMMS as his flagship. This is such a good look for the city
  22. That would be so cool
