  1. I might be a dreamer, but Marcy Kaptur (D-09) is a senior member of the house appropriations committee. Tim Ryan (D-13) is also on the house appropriations committee but also a member of the transportation sub-committee. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) was instrumental in the renovation of the Elyria New York Central Station (still not used by Amtrak). If the stars align and funding can be appropriated for the renovation of Youngstown Station, the missing Ravenna link and Cleveland builds the lakefront station It would make a compelling argument for extending Amtrak service from Pittsburgh thru to Toledo and on to Chicago and Detroit. We could probably even get daytime service! The best part is that we would could bypass the state gov in Columbus.
  2. J. P. Snodgrass had the best pinball. There was an Elton John pinball game there that was the best game ever. Captain Fantastic. Spent all of my money as a kid there that year.
  3. I would rather see a Black cultural garden located on MLK blvd. There is a listing for an "African American Cultural Garden" at 890 MLK Blvd.Don't know if it had ever been built. I do not know how to link to the site otherwise I would.
  4. If you are comparing it to Tyler Village, they have the same owner; Graystone Properties. At least that is the last time that I was interested in Tyler.
  5. why do we need a mascot? The brand is Cleveland, and the logo is the blue "C". If we need to qualify the brand Cleveland, I would suggest "Cleveland United" or "Cleveland Republic" or "Cleveland Nation" I do not want to get hung up on a mascot, but I would like to emphasize that the location Cleveland is all about pride, unity and a power that is derived from both.
  6. I found this one on the Cleveland group plan, Federal Courthouse. One more reason why I love Cleveland.
