Sorry I don't have an answer to that. The story just caught my attention mid stream...I don't even know what channel, but Applebaum was addressing the council members.

Saw a little blurb on the news...Jeff Applebaum explaining the Hotel options to County Council. Said one of the options was "27 stories above the podium". Not sure exactly what that means, but it sounds good to me.

When the new Max Hayes is built, I would think the current school site would be available for development. Seems perfect for mid rise housing.

My understanding there will be NO townhomes on top because of historical issues. Rooftop deck and greenery are planned.

Oklahoma City: Developments and News
I was in OKC recently and I agree, the building looks better in person. The site is nicely integrated with the park across the street. My only complaint would be that it is SO dominant on the current skyline. Hopefully future towers will balance that out.

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway: Battery Park
I hate to give second hand info, but here is what I was told re. the old factory building on 76th. There is apparently some historical signifigance to the building which means extra permitting etc., but the building will be converted to 31 apartments. There will not be an additional floor of penthouses, but there will be rooftop decks. I can only guess at the likleyhood of these plans actually getting done, but my source had a sense that it would happen. Also ODOT has re contracted the ped tunnel completion. Schedule?..I don't know.

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway: Battery Park
Just a quick update. The next phased building was begun on May7. It is well underway. This building is L shaped with 10 units. I am not aware of the pre sale numbers, but I know sales have been good. I'm curious about any new info regarding the proposed rehab of the old factory, if anyone knows.

Looking at the webcam, it appears there will be a floor above the topped out elevator shaft. That doesn't make much sense to me, but ....

I totally disagree. The wavy reflection looks great and provides some texture to the building. I'll wait untill it's done to pass final judgment....but for now, I like.
