Cleveland: Downtown: The Avenue District
"District Park is definitely in our future". Nice to hear. 23 units sold before shovel touches the ground seems pretty substantial to me, especially when viewed in connection with the front page article about Cuyahoga Counties lack of new housing starts.

What is the status of the steak house that was on the river down there? It isn't still there, is it?

Amherst: Cleveland Quarries
Yesssssss. More golf courses. Actually a real well designed championship golf course can be a real economic benefit, as well as a selling point for the housing etc.

Cleveland Eateries: A Where To Guide for Visitors and Residents
I stopped at Ponte Vecchio two weeks ago. Things were much nicer outside and they claimed they had new owners. The old bridge deck outside the place is THE best spot in town IMHO in the summer.

Cleveland: Lighthouse Landing
I think I already did.

Cleveland: Lighthouse Landing
Another possibility is that Shaia and Wolstien are not as adversarial as they seem, but are constrained by the 'auto pilot' process. It would be hard for Wolstein to embrace one developement within his boundaries while rejecting the others. Let the Court decide which are legit (Shaia) and which are not (Kasouf).

Cleveland: Cuyahoga County Gov't properties disposition (non-Ameritrust)
And think about it...do you want to have a $100 million project managed by people who can't make the simplest deadline of all?

Cleveland: Kassouf Hi-Rise Plans
I don't know if I ever thumbed my nose at any new developements downtown...........untill now.

Cleveland: Prospect Place, Joshua Hall, & Mueller Lofts
Good point b 12. It's usually May before we start seeing this kind of action. Of course it's usually May before we see this kind of weather.

Cleveland: Lighthouse Landing
Thanks as always to KJP for the inside scoop. I am feeling more optimistic now. Curious though that these matters would be played out so publicly by people who know each other and apparently get along with each other....why weren't these issues resolved in some smokey back room?

Cleveland: Lighthouse Landing
This project is a stone throw from the proposed District Park, which hasn't happened despite being much further along than the Shaias are. So I'm less optimistic than I want to be. I am really miffed at the attitude of the politicians. They act like two developements are one too many!

Cleveland: Jay Avenue Lofts
Have I been missing something? What is the 'Lighthouse' project?

Cleveland: Stonebridge Phase 5
Was in the neighborhood Friday night. The new condo tower had two levels of structural steel complete. The second floor was cantilevered several feet over the front of the building. I don't carry a camera and it was dark so sorry no pics.

Someone please keep The Pope out of town.

Cleveland: Stonebridge Phase 5
Folks, it was a simpler world back then.

Cleveland: Stonebridge Phase 5
Back in the day when the Flats were jumping. people used to walk across the big lift bridge at the mouth of the river. My wife actually rode the bridge up one night. (does that sound bad?) However, I don't see that as a viable option for pedestrian traffic.

Cleveland: Stonebridge Phase 5
Just a quick teaser. There was steel coming out of the hole at Stonebridge.

Cleveland: NASA Glenn Research Center News & Info
KJP is certainly having a week isn't he? Is it too late to change my vote for 'Forumer of the Year"?

Cleveland: Bob Stark Warehouse District Project
My guess is that we will be in the E 4th, Gateway neighborhood. Stark has had designs on that area....perhaps Dan Gilbert is involved in some fashion.

Cleveland: Chinatown old and new (with some live-work)
Most 'holiday' gifts are much less enjoyable...thanks blinker

Cleveland: Stonebridge Phase 5
Movement within the flats will be dictated ( like everything in Cleveland) by the weather. Walking from any part of stonebridge to the Main Ave bridge is easy in good weather...a chore in lousy weather. Water taxi...great in summer, etc. But regarding the water taxi, maybe flats residents can buy an annual pass or something. I could imagine that it would become a routine way of getting about after a while.

Cleveland: Stonebridge Phase 5
This project is moving forward quite quickly. Here's a bet that there will be people living in Stonebridge phase 5 before anyone is in the Pinnacle.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
Has Gilbert chosen a site yet for his loan center? Also, did the KJP mystery developement anouncement ever happen?

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
Downtown is a neighborhood also.
