  1. I too missed this thread. Great stuff ColDay. I did a tour of the first three when I went to the first mega-meet in Columbus (that's been years ago now). Guess your pics have intrigued me enough to check out Brownsville some day too. Thanks.

I'm envious as heck. I don't even have a window in my office. Must be distracting though. I'm sure that upsets you no end. The density in OTR is amazing. Great series of shots. Thanks for taking a break from work and treating us. :-D
  3. Stunningly disturbing. Thanks for sharing these pics with us.

Dandy tour. The Michigan Theatre is a gem of a building. I remembered being quite surprised when I visited Jackson. Quite the collection of taller buildings for a smaller city. Thanks for sharing your pics with us.
  5. Check out www.clevelandmemory.com if you haven't already. There are more historical pictures in there than you can look at in a month (and I mean non-stop viewing). Wow, that's a heck of a site, so many great pics. Thanks for the tip KJP.
  6. Brrrr, chilly. But I do like the pic, thanks for sharing yur find.
  7. Looks like a solid blue collar hood. Pretty good shape too. The first few pics are quite the unique haousing style. Thanks for sharing your tour. btw, what did the cop think you were doing? Casing the place out for some nefarious purpose?
  8. Ohio has so many cool looking smaller cities. Gotta love these pics, thanks CDM.

I'm quite sure these are the first pics I've seen of this city. Looks attractive. Thanks for the mini tour
  10. A little ragged around the edges, but colorful and not really trashy. Works for me. Brownsville looks a bit uninspiring. Still fun to see these border cities. Thanks for the tours mrnyc.
  11. Awesome pics, for sure. But I couldn't imagine being a cab driver in Tokyo. :?
  12. Gotta love those old Art Deco gems. Thanks for the tour ink, great stuff there.
  13. Great to see pics of Ypsilanti. Not only never been there, but I don't recall seeing any pics before. That block of buildings you pointed out does look pretty darn good. Thanks for the tour.
  14. Love the pics MayDay. Reminds me of when my destroyer went through the Corinth canal in Greece. Had about 5 foot clearence on both sides, fun times. Thanks for the pics.
  15. I'm diggin' the pics and the zoom MayDay, but i can't help but think the zoom will be turned into a weapon for some evil purpose. :-o

I didn't realize Dayton had so much going on, nice tour.
  17. ^ Ever been to Rome, NY?
  18. ^^ I agree, Rob is a railroad buff, and loves bridges like that. Wonderful tour Riverview. Lots of fun, and just a touch of tragedy (broken car and man peeing :-o ) Thanks for sharing your walk.

I do too, nice thread, thanks.
  20. Very disappointing to see that. I thought that much abandonment happened only in the biggest cities. The house you added(as your favorite) is such a wasted opportunity. Sad to see, but thanks for the pics Jeff. :-(

Probably a big mistake posting this here, but this is my alter ego when I'm not a nerd:
  23. Quite a dramatic set of pics. Thanks for the tour and walking up so many steps (glad you like 'em). A couple of those places looked like they are ready to fall down. Thanks for sharing.

That public housing complex looks rather big for a city the size of Zanesville. I hope the neighbors can rid their hood of the crack plague. Did they have 25 cent booths in Private Desires? :-o   Thanks for the pics.
  25. Missed this one before, nice looking town. Thanks for the pics.
