Cincinnati City Charter Reform and Amendments
City Council & community councils used to be more engaged. Charlie Luken really eviscerated that relationship & cited a lot of printing. You wouldn't need to print so much today. It's kinda weird making the community councils real official because they are all set up differently. Laketa Cole tried getting into that and, after managing to tick off pretty much everybody, she backed off. Are you talking about 'Contested Ground'?

What Would You Re-Name the Cleveland Indians?
I've heard that the term "redskin" is considered in some circles as being a slur on par with the n-word. It probably then doesn't matter that some Native Americans have "reclaimed" the word, so to speak, somewhat similar to the way that blacks have taken back the n-word. It may be a double standard, and one that I don't fully understand, but I know better and have enough respect to realize that that doesn't make it right for me to use the word. Should squares be allowed to use the term 'freaks'? Should Catholics be allowed to use the term 'Protestants'? if we have inane crape like "the n-word", shouldn't we be talking about the R**skin word? Just rename the team the "Clevo guys who used to live here, who we respect but can't utter their name because they will file a lawsuit"...

Wells Fargo bank has filed a complaint seeking control of the Upper Valley Mall this week, citing concerns it won’t be to pay off the remaining $47 million of a loan. Unless a receiver is appointed, the complaint argues, “tenants will continue to leave the premises,” and “the premises will deteriorate.” http://www.springfieldnewssun.com/news/business/economy/bank-files-complaint-seeking-control-of-upper-vall/ngThR/

Cincinnati: Urban Grocery Stores
One of the things I found on the intrtubes long ago was that asking a question was about useless but if you stated something knowingly wrong, 99 people would be all over you. So, instead of asking what the Main St speed limit was, you would just state that the speed limit on Main St was 75MPH.

I thought the courts made the attorneys justify their monetary claims before anything got going in the courtroom.
