  2. Dancers say they'll get enough signatures to block strip-club law Law set to take effect Sept. 4, but group has until Sept. 3 to gather enough signatures to put issue on ballot. By William Hershey Monday, August 06, 2007 COLUMBUS — Representatives of 'Dancers for Democracy' said Monday they're confident they'll gather enough signatures to put the issue on the Nov. 6 ballot to block a bill regulating strip clubs from taking effect as scheduled Sept. 4. Meanwhile, Citizens for Community Values, the Cincinnati-based group that backed the bill, plans to air a radio ad statewide soon explaining what the proposed law would do and what?s behind the signature-gathering drive opposing it, said David Miller, CCV vice president. 3. Sam's was downtown - sw of the center. A folk/bluegrass/blues place that made 10 times more money booking the punk & new wave bands. There was an old hippie bartender there who made it clear he hated the music and the customers. We had a lot of fun with him. The Walnut Hills was the embodiment of hell in a refurbished old house on a corner of Wayne Ave at #2033. Their specialty was Stroh's by the quart. (This was back when they still made the stuff in Detroit)

I think more chicks should shave their heads
  5. Chicks get away with it because guys are usually reluctant to pop a girl in the nose.

  7. >>The hotel bar on Central Parkway just south of CTC >Wow. Can't imagine what occasion brought you to that place. Decided to do a pub crawl home after work one Friday. The place was packed and the middle aged waitress in support everything and Tammy faye makeup was actually kinda hot. >The She? Damn dude that brings back some old memories. Was that a gay bar ? I went there because the punk/new wave bands started playing there.

I had the Bozo look, Mayday (of perfect hair and skin), so abhors, but I grew my hair out and, by tying it back in a pony tail, achieve a lessened "Bozo" look. More of a George Carlin look. Being partially bald is a PITA. Mayday will probably wind up with a thick head of beautiful silvery grey hair. $^$^#!@
  9. Hobby shops were cool. There is really no modern equivalent.
  10. Deputies take bite from crime OVER-THE-RHINE – Behind the wheel of the black-and-yellow Hamilton County sheriff’s cruiser, Sgt. Bill Rarrick rolled slowly over the streets here. He watched the crowds closely, peeked through narrow alleys and occasionally pointed out the area’s prostitutes and pimps. Last week marked the first anniversary of deputies’ patrolling Over-the-Rhine, a neighborhood once known for its history and culture but now notoriously associated with crime. http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070805/NEWS01/308050011

  13. ^So, I am guessing you don't lick yourself clean ? right, that's what the old lady is for......... :-) Living with animals is a great experience, because it shows you the difference between your animal tendencies and your civilized social tendencies. It makes you wonder what the hell happened to those cats in the videos. I'd pretty much guarantee their behavior is the result of the abuse of "civilized" humans.

  20. photo by Ink It's up to Central if it wants South High Tuesday, July 31, 2007 By Lucas Sullivan Catholic Central doesn't have the funds to purchase the South High School building, but money will not be an issue if officials want to occupy the structure. The Turner Foundation, a philanthropic organization dedicated to the improvement of Springfield, is willing to purchase the building for Catholic Central if that's what school officials want. "If Catholic Central is interested in using the building and wants to be in the building then we would be willing to sit down and potentially talk about what we would be willing to do," said John Landess, executive director of the Turner Foundation. "We are waiting on word from Catholic Central. We don't want to see South High School sitting empty and unused. "We'd like to find a use for the building. I think that's everybody's hope for the building." The 240,769 square-foot building — modeled after the U.S. Library of Congress — has been appraised for $3 million, but real estate agent Pete Noonan, hired by the Springfield City Schools to sell its properties, said the final price will be worked out in "private negotiations." The question is, does Catholic Central want it? "I know they are still very interested in the building," said Noonan, who added that there are other interested parties not affiliated with education somewhat interested in the property. "They are still studying the facility for its possible use." http://www.springfieldnewssun.com/n/content/oh/story/news/local/2007/07/31/sns080107schoolbuildingsseg.html

color coded ! Those keypadss got a workout (3 shifts a day - 7 days a week). I only had to replace one once, tho. DIGITAL heck, from what I have read, the manufacturers are ceasing the production of film and chemistry. It is really strange, being raised on photographs, to see them become some weird old obsolete medium.
  23. The sad thing is that so many people use them flawlessly and so many of the cashiers seem to screw up at least once per transaction. There should be a rule allowing only one person per station at the U-Scan and cell phones should be disabled. AND FURTHERMORE ........

Some of these seem like nice blogs and some, like patent baristas seem to offer some good info, but I don't see much of a a Cinti connection to them. Grasscat's HAD to be in there, especially with the new layout. I wonder if the decision to put CincinnatiBlog in there had much to do with the fact that it constantly links to cincinnati.com ? :-) For a city that is almost half black - it's a pretty white lookin' list.

Do you suggest the Cinti Art Museum to people who are regularly frequenting Chicago ? Or just stick with purely Cincinnati stuff ?
