  1. Man, that's a lot of money for a tiny lot in a neighborhood where people get their vans torched. This guy's greed is amazing. I guess this is why we need 3CDC.

Depends on what aspect of fashion you are talking about. Some of it was quite chic. Ivy Rorshach @ The Jockey Club (Newport, KY)
  4. Fast forwarding through the old microfilms is just utterly unreal. You find so much stuff other than what you are looking for it is hard to discipline yourself to just go to what you wanted in the first place.
  5. I have not gone to any of those meetings but there is a video of part of one here. http://blip.tv/file/get/TheCincinnatiBeacon-3CDCPublicInputBeforeThePresentation177.mp4 The masters thesis writer is into some high fallutin' lnguage. With fear, I tried the full text link but, probably fortunately, it didn't work.

You will notice the speed bumps with Apple apps like iTunes when you rip a mp3. All the other apps you mentioned will be slowed down a bit because of the emulation Rosetta is doing.

This is sort of a "Roots of Mac OS X" sorta thing A half hour presentation of NextStep by Steve Jobs. It kind of looks like a cross between OS X & Win 98.
  9. Isn't smoky flavoring a desireable attribute with barbecue ?

Well, they supported the Hamilton Co jail levy & a plan to control state taxation by tying it in with inflation (?). The latter plan called for an initial tax hike. Yeah, I agree, the just say no strategy is dumb & they seem pretty weak on coming up with ways to privately finance the issues they don't want publicly funded. Jeez, it's just 4 people.

Pete Rose Way was debated to hell & back. Pete was on a roll so the city made an exception. Later, Pete was kicked out of baseball, investigated for all kinds of stuff. There is a reason for the law.
  21. Go to wkrc.com, click on Newsmakers There you will find 2 links to last week's show that both get a 404 Is it some kind of regulation that every media website in Cincinnati has to suck ? That being said, it was a pretty good interview. I think Hurley really likes the idea. They said the first phase of feasaility investigation should be completed by this spring.

Well, actually, I was makingan admittedly obtuse referesnce to the movie Poltergeist where a deeloper had no respect for the dead & it kinda came back to bite folks in the ass. Anyway, McMicken isn't even a boulevard. It is a dumb, rude & pointless idea to change the name of the street.

Well, yeah, he's dead. You wouldn't name the street after him if he were alive. Lemme guess, you are the type who would move a burial ground for a suburban housing project. And we all know how that turns out ! :-)
