Cincinnati: Northside: American Can Factory Lofts
Yeah, the parking lot on the corner looks almost like what Walgreens had proposed. But there won't be a driveway along Hamilton ? That would be better for the peds. The park doesn't lok like much more than what sits next to the funeral home up the street, tho.

We bought it, what do you think we should do with it?
You could sell Urban Ohio postcards, posters & stuff. That building is beautiful. Move in.

New Uses for Old Churches
This is in Northside on Delaney or Cherry or something I have no idea what it is being used for now. A church on Chase was bought & was going to be used as a home/studio but appears to have been sold/rented to another church. Then, of course, there are the storefront churches that I find fascinating. :-)

Cincinnati: Come on downtown; the water's fine
Mudslide, I walk through some of the area you drive through evey day at about the same time. I never have problems. The hookers frequently smile & say hello. I know they are working but it's still kinda nice. The transvestites are the nicest. Other than one time, the dealers have accepted a simple answer of no. If you are just passing through, take the parkway. It has to be quicker.

Central Avenue - upper end, Cincy
This looks pretty bleak from behind but it is actually the home of a successful photo studio (OMS ?) and some other comapnies are in there, too. The walkway that you didn't post is supposed to get torn down sometime which is a damn shame for the, like 0.000002 % of the population that still walks. The junk car lot is a serious eyesore but it gets some interesting cars once in a while. As far as the Family Dollar, as was pointed out, the area has a long way to go & frankly I see ANY investment as a good sign. ok, I could have done without the investment of whoever put up the relay tower at the north end of the street. I usually go down the street about 7 in the morning in the summer. Cool light & the natives are usually asleep except for the little storefront church right behind the weird statue. Sometimes they have some serious fire & brimstone preaching going on at the friggin crack of dawn in the middle of the week. An interesting area, thanks for the pics.

Won't Apple be obligated to sue the architect for stealing the "look & feel" of the iPod ?

10 - 25 year old maps
Doing some cleaning. I have a bunch of maps, nothing special, but I didn't know if any of the geeks here might have a use for them. They would not be of much use for future tripa due to their age & the fact that you can probably get new accurate ones for free.. They are from my traveling years & are between 10 & 25 years old. Mainly AAA road maps of states & some cities. Columbus, Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit, Arizona, Indiana, just a hodge podge. Lemme know if you want any. I am just going to trash 'em.
