if you are under 7' you should be fine.
  5. Uncontested, Chabot got about 17,000 votes in the primary while 2 Democrats combined got about 10,000 votes. Both parties got <10% of registered voters. Kundrata got the Dem nom.

Mike Douglas was a musician, so don't let his 'squareness' fool you. He knew exactly what he was getting when he booked Frank Zappa.
  8. Cincinnati wants to crack down on prostitution. One of the things council members want to do is publish the names of convicted customers. No idea if the local media wants to publish the info. The thing is, these guys are doing what they are doing so can you really shame them? I'd go with regulated legalization but I don't know if a city can do that. Is it a state issue? http://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/politics/2014/05/07/citys-proposed-john-crackdown-getting-buzz/8802689/

You realize you don't need a 'women's' bike unless you plan to bike in a dress/skirt?

seriously... I don't see a weight. Shipping weight is 38 lbs. That's not too lightweight. Have you picked one up in a store?

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
  13. you can get the same square footage for under $100k & your house guests won't have to sleep on the floor. You can get a basement, front porch, yard & private garage to boot. overpriced
  14. here's a rendering - a home for the elderly is supposed to go in a bit further east on Knowlton, too
  15. LOL, yeah, people in poor neighborhoods get paranoid about people photographing their homes, too.
  16. New over priced condos in Hyde Park get yourself a 1 bedroom for about $700k http://www.cincinnati.com/story/money/2014/05/05/new-hyde-park-condos/8750147/
  17. Nice. Hope nobody released the hounds.
  18. toe clips are harder to get into than out of. Yeah, if you're going distance in the country, they are nice. Riding in the city with a lot of stops & starts, they are just a PITA. It's pretty easy to swap pedals. The left side screws in backwards.
  19. I have a Trek 7.1 FX that I am happy with. Use it in Cincinnati for errands, commuting, etc. It's got a bit shorter wheelbase than a lot of bikes in it's class (better maneuvering) I'd suggest a bike store with a good reputation - not a store where they try to sell you something you might not want & won't try to sell you a whole bunch of junk you don't need.

I considered posting this in the "Worst Generation" thread. Seems the Boomers might get some use out of the unemployed Millennials, tho. I saw a bad movie along these lines....
