Springfield South HIgh School to be Home of Ohio's First Global Impact STEM Acad
The Global Impact STEM Academy governing board on Monday afternoon authorized an exploration into options other than the former South High School building as a permanent site for the school. The renovations have been estimated to cost between $3.5 and $4.5 million for the 60,000 to 70,000 square feet expected to be needed to house Global Impact. The school has approximately $1 million in committed donations for the possible renovation project at South, which closed in 2008 with the opening of Springfield High. The academy has 46 enrolled students through its first semester. The goal for next year is 175 students, which Founding Director Josh Jennings hopes will come in the form of 25 incoming sophomores and 100 incoming freshmen. “I’m comfortable that we’ll reach that goal or come close,” said Jennings, who added that about 30 applications for 2014-15 have been received to date.

I had cherry & lime phosphates as a kid, this egg thing seems bizarre. I usually got a Green River & an egg salad sandwich. Prices were more like $1 or $1.25 for a sandwich I think. My mom & older sibs usually got the chopped olive sandwich. My mom used to cut up tomatoes & drizzle home made Italian dressing on 'em. Dunno if that's what the tomato salad in the menu was or not.

Any musicians on the forum?
Understanding what makes a chord & a scale will only help. Being able to slog through reading music can only help (no need to sight play). That said, a friend of mine, once he got proficient, said that he had reached the point where he needed to forget what he had learned.

"Facebook is godsent for people who love to talk, but have nothing to say." right - it's like chatting in the break room. When you guys say there's too much in your feed - how many friends & likes do you have? I've seen people with over 1,000 friends. Who the hell has 1,000 friends?- Historic Photos
