This is true but then, Keith Richards... Ferrari, you didn't mention if you had any music background at all. Are you just starting from scratch?

My first guitar book was a Mel Bay thing. On the first page it had a picture of a pick with the caption, "This is your pick". Then it had a picture of a hand with the caption, "This is your hand". Unless you want to be a performer, I'd say, just play & have fun.

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
I am not into sorts at all. Dunno if these businesses profit from the Bengals at all. I had to fight my way into a Kroger recently because of the ben Gals blocking the door..... Anyway, there's a palpable difference in the spirit of the city when a team is in the championship playoffs. We'll see how that plays out when 1/3 of the stadium gets blown up Sunday and thousands of people are killed & maimed. I'm stickin' with women's rollerderby.

With Ruby & Kroger & all giving tickets to so many military people, isn't this just an invitation for terrorists?

^yeah, & people who get $$$ training & then quit... Today, however, it's People Who Waste Salespersons' Time. I got a sister taking some young chick out on a snipe hunt of a real estate search. I've seen older agents fire my sister but this young devotchka doesn't know better so she's skipping time with her kids hoping her flake of client will actually buy a house. She's already lost money for the time that she's put in. oh, and don't get me started on how she treats car sales people..... What kills me on this is that our dad was a Realtor & she KNOWS how much family time he sacrificed. I guess it's maybe more of people who don't respect that other people have lives, but high price tag sales people seem to really get it bad in these instances. At least from this chick....

Why are young people driving less?
A Camaro is a guy's car? Is this some kind of motorhead metrosexual thing?

Ohio's 2nd Congressional District
Wenstrup might be challenged Freshman Rep. Brad Wenstrup, R-Columbia Tusculum, may get a primary from a perennial candidate who has run for the 2nd Congressional District seat before – as a Democrat. “I believe I may run against Rep. Brad Wenstrup in the Republican Primary, due to issues I have with his voting record, and these issues hurt many families in the 2nd. Congressional District,” Thomas R. Chandler told the Enquirer in an email. http://cincinnati.com/blogs/politics/2014/01/03/wenstrup-may-get-primary-challenger/

Historic Photos
I want to say I saw an ad for a place called The Renaissance in a PDF of an old UC paper. When I was in HS in Spfld, some guys were talking about going to the Ludlow Garage to see the Dead but plans fell part. These were the kind that frequently would go to shows & never make it... I was living in Cincinnati for quite a few years before I noticed The Ludlow garage. :-)

Quimbob replied to The_Cincinnati_Kid's post in a topic in Restaurants, Local Events, & Entertainment360+ comments bitching about Pepsi on the Frisch's FB page & now a change.org petition drive https://www.change.org/petitions/frischs-big-boy-reconsider-your-decision-to-change-your-beverage-provider-from-coca-cola-products-to-pepsi-cola I think I could tie this into the Streetcar thread since everything in Cincinnati revolves around the streetcar but I won't.
