Springfield, OH: S High Tours
Springfield high/South High will be offering tours before they engage in some interior renovations 8/15 & 8/17 Springfield City School District officials, along with partners from Clark-Shawnee Local Schools, the Global Impact STEM Academy and Springfield-Clark Career Technology Center, will hold a renovation “groundbreaking” ceremony at 3 p.m. Aug. 15. small group tours will be led through the 103-year-old building from 4 to 6 p.m. Tours will also be offered on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. I think I was in that building once or twice. I was in the auditorium and maybe the print shop. http://www.springfieldnewssun.com/news/news/public-tours-of-south-high-offered-at-renovation-k/ngtnn/?ecmp=springfieldnews_social_facebook_2014_sfp

UrbanOhio travel network -UO'ers offering what to do in their non Ohio city
I could have used that when I went to NOLA a few years ago. My experience was very ~meh~ Seems like every Tom, Dick & Harry wants to set up a fly by night crap restaurant to fleece ourists for a couple years & then move on.

Glass Block is Terrible
I always keep my bills current with the bikers and, living between 2 good size cemeteries, come the zombie apocalypse, I'm gonna be pretty much toast anyway.

Glass Block is Terrible
I like the light that comes thru my basement glass block windows & shines on the floors & walls. It's especially nice when the sun is shining through the trees on breezy days.

Yvette Simpson's take on her barricade plan http://www.cincinnati.com/story/opinion/contributors/2014/08/04/simpson-barricades-provided-peace-mind/13570969/ and talking to the police chief http://www.wlwt.com/news/chief-barricades-to-cut-down-on-prostitution-had-positive-impact/27296530#!bvvPnd The number of women in the sex trade in this one small area is amazing. I know it's not the only area with prostitution. This is what I would have expected in the 19th century.

Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
A fake 55krc caller said that 'My sister is a psychic...She's usually pretty good. She said there's going to be a big riot downtown and the streetcar/Music Hall will be destroyed/Wiped out' (19:50m mark) http://www.55krc.com/media/podcast-brian-thomas-morning-show-55krcMornings/55krc-morning-show-25097156/ Well, when the New Madrid fault goes, Cincinnati's going to turn into another Port au Prince so what's the point of even trying?

I was in that building about a gazillion years ago when, I think Phototype (?) was there. It's kinda old, but $3.4M?- Off Topic
The impact there is overrated. Subsaharan African cultures did not develop written language or the use of draft animals on their own. As for the borders, would neighboring nations from rival tribes be much better than those tribes in the same nation. well, you have nations made up of multiple partial tribes & that spurs conflict.- Cincinnati: Mayor John Cranley
It's mobilized some of the young Dems politically, like in the party, but I think Jake right about city hall.- Union Terminal Ballot Issues / Icon Tax

This is an excellent reason for legalisation.- Cincinnati: Mayor John Cranley
Smitherman was always wanting a way to recall the mayor. Maybe we should support him in this endeavour. Well, if he hasn't changed his mind...- Dayton: Festivals, Music Concerts, & Events
