The "Apple Macintosh" Discussion Thread
The 20th anniversary of Myst The game was developed on Mac Quadras beginning in 1991, with 3D renderings in StrataVision 3D and Macromedia MacroModel. Finishing touches were done in Photoshop 1.0. http://www.tuaw.com/2013/09/27/the-20th-anniversary-of-myst/

Cincinnati: Evolution and Changing Perceptions of Urban Neighborhoods
Gray and Tarbell fought over their visions of OTR. Gray won. He got murdered. I do remember the closing of the mental institutions as a Reagan thing. I find it interesting that Republicans nowadays claim it was an act of liberal Democrats. Of course a lot of those Republicans were little kids or not even born back then...

Cincinnati: Evolution and Changing Perceptions of Urban Neighborhoods
The point of the Drop In Center was to put poverty into the face of the well to do arts patrons at Music & Memorial Halls. Folks envisioned a community of the destitute & mentally ill who would have some level of self governance & hence would live in peace & harmony. pretty wack.

"Randy Simes - Owner and managing editor of UrbanCincy.com- Cincinnati Business Courier" When did Randy buy the Courier?- Cincinnati: Evolution and Changing Perceptions of Urban Neighborhoods
Did actually you read the comments? Because Jen Kessler did have numbers, and she gave the names of the organizers and suggested that Paige contact them. Did actually you read the comments? Jenny did not give numbers at UrbanCincy nor on her own site. Her take on participating (on her site) was quite interesting, however, because it was the kind of event I just couldn't get into, so explaining her mindset and why she enjoyed it was pretty cool. LOL, it's over 100 comments now, too. Never mind, tree planting, transit oriented development, streetcar progress, the Western Hills Viaduct, school safety, bus shelters, I75, traffic congestion & business...- Cincinnati: Evolution and Changing Perceptions of Urban Neighborhoods
Has Sloane asked Paige to be on his show yet? FWIW, Paige did cite some verifiable numbers & all the DeB supporters did was say that she was wrong & never offered to correct her numbers (other than ticket price). Makes ya wonder... ALSO - what's the point of wearing white when you have a ticket & a ride & there's nothing else going on at the reserved venue?- Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
doubt it- Cincinnati: Mayor John Cranley
Not a chance. yeah, in endorsing one of them they would be endorsing/condemning all of the candidate's supporters at the same time. It would be nice if more Democrats, like Berding, would just man up & join the Republican party.- Cincinnati City Council
This is pretty good. Sam, of course, is of the "hit her again, harder" school of parenting. http://cincinnati.com/blogs/politics/2013/09/25/council-slogan-i-come-in-peace/- Cincinnati: Evolution and Changing Perceptions of Urban Neighborhoods
Haters won't believe OTR proponents. they will just think they are all kool aid drinking loons & hipsters and blah blah If some more chains like Subway move in, maybe it will legitimize the place. Apple PC sales didn't really take off till IBM entered the PC market & subsequently "legitimized" it.- Cincinnati: Evolution and Changing Perceptions of Urban Neighborhoods
LOL, yeah, UrbanCincy should be banned from the internet & all it's writers flogged for that Diner en Blanc post. I swear, all the interesting articles on that site & THAT one gets 9M posts...- Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
The birds would sing again. The clouds would break up & there would be rainbows in the sky. People would embrace one another in peace & harmony. The streets would be filled with laughing, playing children. Angels would sing and trumpet blasts would echo off the hills. Cranley would be carried through the streets on people's shoulders as he threw out bags of money to everybody. The deaf would hear, the dumb would speak and the blind would see. The fields would be fertile, the factories active, the bells would ring from the church steeples and formations of fighter jets would streak through the sky. Hail Columbia! Hop On Cincinnati!- Cincinnati: Lost Chains of OTR
When did that Red Barn close? I don't think I ever saw it in operation but I loved it because it looked so silly sitting there.- Cincinnati: Lost Chains of OTR
IIRC, Burger King tried to open up on Liberty, Charlie Luken was mayor & fought them. They never opened.- Cincinnati: Lost Chains of OTR
Wasn't there a White Castle in there somewhere? I went to that Gold Star a lot. Scared my co-workers to death. - Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
