  2. ^If it was something personal, warranted or not, Seelbach should admit it and not make it look like rampant indiscriminate violent crime.

We were encouraged by the commitment of 5/3 and the City to our project. The SBA will take our project to their Board meeting in about two weeks. I want you to know that we are moving forward and are fully committed to Clifton, the Clifton Business District and all the surrounding neighborhoods. Once we have a closing date, we will announce the construction schedule. We anticipate that the construction will take approximately 3 months."

fellas, posting on your site is getting ridiculous. Do you want a photo ID? Fingerprint? Retina scan? Honestly, it's easier to vote.

  8. If you're a big Brian Patrick fan, you can catch him on EWTN from time to time.
  9. There's a big difference between comic strips & comic books - thanks for making that point. Also Crumb & the Superman guys (who actually made comic BOOKS) wound up moving to NYC & Metropolis was always just NYC, anyway.
  10. ok so explain white collar crime
  11. Clark County used to get awards for the best county fair in Ohio. People have said it's not so good anymore but I don't really know why. Older?
  12. It'd be cool to use Union Terminal (JLA HQ) in Cincinnati but I think NYC is really the place to put it. I've suggested a comic book theme for a 3C rail line in the past.
  13. Different year - same dates 2012 fair is 7/20 - 7-27 calendar here http://www.springfieldnewssun.com/news/news/local/clark-county-fair-schedule/nPw5r/ @Robert - IH/Navistar or whatever is a big sponsor of the fair. Usually a lot of big ag industrial stuff on display.

  19. "Mallory says he’s lobbying DC officials to nix Chabot’s streetcar Provision" It's crazy the mayor has to represent the city to Washington but since Cincinnati's congressman doesn't represent the city, what other course in there?
  20. Some of those factories have really thick floors. Still, you can buy a house for a rent payment like that. (I like having a yard - even if it is brown & crunchy right now)

COA T leader calls for MORE spending "It’s crucial to support the ongoing production of defense technology; including the F35." http://cincinnati.com/blogs/letters/2012/07/09/we-cannot-take-defense-for-granted/

  23. Their perserverence is insanity. The streetcar has now been "worse than 9/11", a money maker for those along the route while not increasing property values, a socialist Marxist communist boondoggle, a crack train, and now a time share. the beat goes on and on for them and it's BLOODY!
  24. Paganism is generally more Earth based than the modern mainstream religions leading many adherents to move to rural areas. The writer of the linked article ponders the environmentalism of such a lifestyle as well as some other aspects. Interestingly, she points out that rural life is, to a great extent, "through a window" anyway. http://www.patheos.com/blogs/pantheon/2012/07/does-being-an-urban-pagan-make-more-sense/
