Cleveland: Downtown: Hilton Cleveland
I'm confused … I thought the tallest in Ohio was the Hilton in Cincy at 372 feet. The PD article says this will be 374 feet, so wouldn't this be the new tallest? I wasn't sure what the tallest was that was the information I was looking for, thank you.

Why is that barometer useful? If its the 2d tallest in the state, yet 50th tallest (for example) in CLE, it doesn't do much for CLE. If it were the 50th tallest bldg in CLE, yet the tallest in the state, then that may be more interesting. But by saying that Toledo or Akron or Cincy or where ever has a taller hotel than does CLE, it doesn't reflect well on the city at all. You could also probably say, 'its the second tallest hotel in Ohio-Alabama-Kentucky-and Mississippi combined' and it wouldn't sound very good. Cleveland's a big city (though not by population) and it must use appropriate metrics. Dude it's a yes or no question your looking waaaay too much into it, I was just curious.

Isn't going to be the 2nd tallest hotel in Ohio?

Much better, for some reason even though it keeps the basic same shape it seems much more graceful. The base also does a good job of looking modern but still have some classic touch. I truly enjoyed the picture that showed how it would look stacked against other buildings downtown.

Frank Jackson stated that "the money was already set aside" s and it isn't really an extra cost they are paying the money they've always been paying.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
Here's the story RTA plans to buy 245 natural gas-fueled buses CLEVELAND, Ohio -- RTA board members voted this morning to start buying natural gas-powered buses, authorizing $28.3 million to purchase the first 60 in 2015. All told, the agency expects to replace 245 buses in its fleet with buses that use natural gas, staggering the purchases over four years. RTA's fleet currently has 415 buses, all of them running on diesel fuel. The natural gas buses will cost $472,000 each, higher than the $426,000 price tag for a diesel bus. But the difference will be offset in less than two years by the money saved because natural gas is cheaper and more efficient than diesel, said Frank Polivka, head of procurement for the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority. http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.ssf/2013/11/rta_plans_to_buy_245_natural_g.html#incart_river_default

One major gap down two more to go, then our skyline will be pleasing to look at (minus the justice center)

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
I love this! Bigger scoreboard with a unique design, additional graphics outside the stadium to make it pop, and closer seats to the field....make way for a new 12th man EDIT: I'm kind of bummed that the total seats are dropping from 71,000 to 68,000 though.

I agree with half of those hotels, I think Denver is BEAUTIFUL but I believe this looks better than San Diego. I need a 3D design to fully get an appreciation of the design, but so far I like it for the most part (Going back and forth on the podium design). EDIT: Found the 3D design http://photos.cleveland.com/plain-dealer/2013/11/hotelzip.html

So it will have the look of a 410 foot tower, but really be 370 feet?
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Hilton Cleveland
So it will be 5 feet taller than the Ohio Bell/AT&T tower and 20 feet shorter than the Ameritrust tower. So it will have a nice impact on the skyline. http://www.emporis.com/building/ohiobellhuronbuilding-cleveland-oh-usa

Key thing for me is underground parking, no need for another ugly garage!

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Since I'm a younger fan and haven't had the privilege of witnessing the Browns glory days and seeing the Browns higher in the standings than the Steelers, I find it VERY pleasing to talk trash to the Steelers fans and be able to back it up!

Not a fan of the retro signage at al and iffy on the gateway, BUT I don't mind the chandelier at all I think it will add a classy touch to the area. I do think that downtown should switch to LED electronic boards instead of those Omni info boards we have now, it just looks 10 times better.
