Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
So when they mention lower seat modifications do you think they will do what Philly did and add seats in the gaps?

Cleveland: Downtown: Euclid & 9th Tower / Schofield Building Redevelopment

THIS IS THE BEST THREAD I COULD FIND FOR THIS..... Public Square New Year's Eve celebration comes together CLEVELAND, Ohio - A group of young professionals joined local officials Monday morning to announce the first of what it hopes will be an annual New Year's Eve celebration on Cleveland's Public Square. The Ohio Homecoming Group announced the "Cleveland Rocks New Year's Eve 2014" celebration on the steps of City Hall, along with Mayor Frank Jackson, Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald and Councilman Kevin Kelley. "This event is just another example of how we want to showcase Cleveland and let people know that Cleveland is the heart of the region," Jackson said. Kelley described the Tuesday, Dec. 31 celebration as "a fantastic event that will bring thousands of people downtown and create unity in Cleveland on New Year's Eve." http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.ssf/2013/09/public_square_new_years_eve_ce.html#incart_river_default#incart_m-rpt-2

Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
If im not mistaken there were businesses here that closed due to the Healthline being constructed as well.

Cleveland: Downtown: Euclid & 9th Tower / Schofield Building Redevelopment
Nope born and raised here

Cleveland: Downtown: Euclid & 9th Tower / Schofield Building Redevelopment
Why did the city Club get constructed so close to the Schofield building? That was always weird to me.

Cleveland: Hotel Development
I only found the following hotels available for a check in Friday - Sunday (9/26-9/28) $279 InterContinental Cleveland $375 Renaissance Cleveland Hotel $249 Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Center $187 Radisson Hotel Cleveland-Gateway $17 DoubleTree by Hilton Cleveland Downtown $253 InterContinental Suites Hotel Cleveland $170 Hampton Inn Cleveland-Downtown $159 Residence Inn Cleveland Downtown $74 University Hotel & Suites $199 Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland Downtown $155 Comfort Inn Downtown Just flat out lazy reporting. Wow shameful on 19 Action News' part. With the Rennaissance at $375 and the Comfort Inn at $155, it must have been close to a sell out. Don't forget that hotels will oversell just like the airlines. That is true also, well as long as the Cleveland hotels continue to be successful close to the rate they are going now (obviously they won't always all be close to sold out) then im ecstatic.

Kind of discouraged that the only hotel with free rooms (according to the story) is the new Aloft.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
For what it's worth Trent Richardson had 13 carries for 35 yards with a 2.7 YPC.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Even though he had 3 INTs I feel MUCH more confident with Hoyer as our QB. He does reads faster seems more poised and has much better ball placement than Weeden. He needs better judgment though 2 of those INTs were ridiculous. GO BROWNS!!!!

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Looking at this game so far we would be IDIOTIC to trade Josh Gordon we desperately need him in our future, Greg Little not so much.

Cleveland: Downtown & Vicinity Residences Discussion
There hasn't been any new construction downtown to get to that number, it's only conversions. We will see what happens with the FEB apartments. So are you saying it won't be the right move to charge $2/sf for the converted apartments downtown?
-
Cleveland: Downtown & Vicinity Residences Discussion
With Uptown and Upper Chester charging $2/sf which justifies new construction but downtown struggling to get to that number is living in UC really that much more valuable, or appealing than Downtown?

Cleveland: Midtown: Development and News
Loved the building until that HUGE dirt lot next to it!!!!! The gaps in Midtown are my biggest gripes about this area. It is so disconnected and underdeveloped but yet so much potential because of where the district is situated, it honestly baffles me.

Northeast Ohio / Cleveland: General Transit Thread
The article says that Portland's streetcar cost $95 million, how much area does their streetcar cover compared to our BRT? Also how much did the Healthline cost to construct?

Cleveland: Downtown: Hilton Cleveland
It's in that Channel 3 investigator story posted above, Tom Myers mentioned after 2 months they are searching for a new operator.
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Hilton Cleveland
He is not comparing apples to apples with other government owned hotels. In fact, there is no one to compare to since CLE is the first with a Med. Mart type facility. Well apparently the events booked for the Med Mart and Convention Center are pretty underwhelming that's why they are looking for a new operator. Hearing that makes me nervous about this hotel and makes me want apartments involved.

Cleveland: Downtown: Euclid & 9th Tower / Schofield Building Redevelopment
I had to do a double take with the healthline I though I saw a streetcar!

Cleveland: Upper Chester: Development and News
Not a HUGE fan of the design but I am excited for the project nonetheless. At least it's built up to the sidewalk! EDIT: After reading the Steven Litt article I like the project design more, I didn't realize it had as much glass as it does. i also appreciate the parking layout being in the rear.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
We are bringing in McGahee for a physical, I would only be satisfied if they flipped that pick for a star receiver maybe even Kenny Britt but that is HIGHLY doubtful

New Metro Area GDP Released
GDP = Gross Domestic Production It's a measure of the size/strength of an economy. I'm not sure where you got the idea it was the fastest growing last year... According to the OP, Toledo has the largest growth % last year and Cleveland was 5th. I looked at the ranking all the way at the beginning amd Cleveland was #1 in over GDP but I took it for growth rate instead of overall GDP for some reason. Now since you broke it down though does that mean that Cleveland had the largest and strongest economy last year?
