Cleveland: Random Development and News
If you're on the east side I can easily say there is more housing being demolished than built. I truly worry about the urban fabric being too far gone on the east side. It's quite unfortunate. What do you mean the tipping point though? Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Downtown: The Beacon
The clash with the glass facade bothers me too much. Also it doesn't really stand out with the shape of the building. I appreciate the uneven look of it just isn't as eye catching as the garage itself. Back to the drawing board, this project has been sitting dormant too long for just an okay design. Cleveland: Public Square
Since we all love how the new public square turned out and are posting pics in the development thread, why not have an official photo thread. Here are a few pics I took yesterday. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Northeast Ohio / Cleveland: General Transit Thread
I honestly wanted to take a photo of it but he was with his family so I didn't want to see like a creep lol. He even said that he was going to take his young daughters to the flats and ride the mysterious Waterfront line! *Gasp* lol Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

East Cleveland: News & Discussion
Talked to Gary Norton today, briefly though because he was with his family. He mentioned that the merger progress was going slow, as expected and within a year and a half it can/should be on the ballot. He mentioned as well that he feels that it has a lot of support. Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
Agreed I feel that having the bus lane closed allows it to feel much more connected and flow better. Hopefully it doesn't cause it to feel too seperate. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
^ I'm not sure of a complete renovation but there are a lot of vacancies popping up. Is that by design? Is Gilbert allowing the leases to run out so he can do what ever he envisions later, because it is looking rough. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
Public square has so many things going on and so many different people in it today. Mix that with the busy traffic surrounding it, the square gave downtown that true major city feel. I feel it was very well done. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Talked to multiple employees at FYE and they mentioned that the FYE downtown is going under a renovation soon. When I asked if they would be getting smaller he said "no if anything it is going to expand." Very surprising to hear that seeing how a lot of FYE's are closing. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Are there any built in sprinklers for the grass area? I see them for the shrubbery but didn't check for them in the grass area.

Yes if you have to follow that "made in america" guideline for the funding.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
I'm just saying in general. That $5.5 million or whatever it is isn't enough anymore. People who usually would agree to it are getting double digit millions per year now. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

These deals have been ridiculously large. The league will have to increase the MLE to keep up with the drastically increased salaries. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower at Erieview & Galleria Renovation
^That is only for a limited time depending on traffic. Bigger traffic = Longer hours. I wish this was in more of a visible location, people are so used to not having a reason to go to the Galleria that they will need HEAVY advertising downtown. I hope it succeeds I love Chick-Fil-A! Business would've really boomed in T.C food court. I will say though, to draw people to the Galleria you have to start somewhere and this could be the start. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
2012-13 was a rough year but it looks as if there isn't really a slowdown but a consistent loss. 2.2% from 10-15 and 0.5% from 14-15. Multiply that 0.5% x 4 more years then you reach a loss of 2.0% by 2020 (going off a consistent loss). Math may be off and hopefully I'm wrong but that's what i take from those numbers.
