  1. The lack of designated parking will also hurt the success of this project. People who drop $300K-$400K on condos own cars and want easy access to them.
  2. Construction fencing and scaffolding going up...
  3. Great Shots!

Aldi perfers to be next to big box stores like Walmart. It provides good traffic by thier stores.
  5. My guess is that the lunchtime only crowd does not make it cost effective for burger king or McDonalds. As these restaurants may require breakfast , lunch and dinner to be worth the investment. The Wendy's is the only fast food in town and that may be why it survives. But the Arby's that closed a while back was nearly empty at lunch and was disgusting.
  6. ^A new hotel development? There are 3 under construction and atleast 2 proposed new hotels. We need more residential hands down.
  7. Their priority is to make money and they will make more money having the space rented out for $$$ wedding receptions, then a bar.

    ^ well said.
  11. Does this have anything to do with the parking garage conversion?
  12. Would they be able to build the building fast enough to meet their needs?
  13. Most of what you said was false. Read up some more.
  14. The new apartment building isn't bad.
  15. Huge News! http://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2013/09/16/vacant-walnut-hills-firehouse-to.html
  16. ^ does it matter? No.
  17. They also probably will wait till the park is finished with its remodel along with The Ann L. Inn. Their new building will be the last piece of the puzzle.
  18. There is a spot already for town homes.
  19. I agree with you. However, I believe the cost of the hotel is $40M for 200 rooms. The other hotels like the Enquirer building will have 238 rooms plus 12,000 sq of retail for $27.3M. The difference is the cost. That is why it is more difficult or taking longer to get the banks hotel project going.
  20. or why not more apartments??
  21. Until they start building a new garage by P&G there will not be any movment on this.
