With Massive Potential State Tax Credit, nuCLEus Could Be Back Posted By Sam Allard on Fri, Mar 23, 2018 at 10:43 am Recent testimony by a Stark Enterprises executive at the Ohio Statehouse suggests that the nuCLEus project is still in the works. Stark Vice President Steven Coven testified in support of House Bill 469, a bill sponsored by Rep. Tom Patton, (R-Strongsville) and Rep. Ken Schuring (R-North Canton), which would provide a 10 percent tax credit to new "transformational" mixed-use development projects, or TMUDs. https://www.clevescene.com/scene-and-heard/archives/2018/03/23/with-massive-potential-state-tax-credit-nucleus-could-be-back Could this help redevelop the old Macy's building?

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
you could vote for Bill O'Neill http://www.billforohio.com/the-oneill-plan-for-ohio/ High Speed Rail Finally, I want to talk about transportation. Thirty years ago there was a feasibility study that demonstrated the economic viability of a 200 mph high speed electric train system from Cleveland to Columbus and down on to Cincinnati. It was going to be funded by a bond issue. Instead we built a third lane on Interstate 71. If they can build it in China, France, Spain and California, there is no reason it cannot be done in Ohio. Let’s put Ohioans back to work, and build a fast, reliable rail network that will strengthen our transportation system, protect our environment, and make Ohio more attractive to big business.

Cincinnati: Pleasant Ridge / Kennedy Heights: Development and News
Unfortunately, I do not. I do know that the old movie theater next to Pleasant Ridge Chili has been bought by the owners of The Overlook but I don't know what plans they have for it. Also, the now empty Burger King should be up for sale soon. The owners of the overlook eventually wanted to open a theater, so hopefully that's what that is! They already have an option on the theater. These are different properties.

Does anyone have any inside information about who is planning on buying these properties? And what they plan on doing with it? 1. https://www.sibcycline.com/Listing/CIN/1485587/6016-6018-Montgomery-Rd-Pleasant-Ridge-OH-45213 2. https://www.sibcycline.com/Listing/CIN/1485410/6024-6026-Montgomery-Rd-Pleasant-Ridge-OH-45213 3. https://www.sibcycline.com/Listing/CIN/1485481/6010-Montgomery-Rd-Pleasant-Ridge-OH-45213

I doubt it. That block is only 350' wide, which isn't wide enough for a stadium. To fit a stadium there, you'd need to take Central Ave and most of the block to the west, which includes the Betts-Longworth Historic District. Just not a great spot for a stadium. I was thinking more along the lines of new parking garage to support the stadium.

Does the FC cincy Stadium have anything to do with the potential project?

Cincinnati: Downtown: Fourth & Race (Pogue Garage) Redevelopment
who paid to have the garage torn down? Also, didn't the developer say they were interested in the saks 5th site if they were to move? Seems like they were high on cincy maybe competition has scared them off. Or they want to go bigger? maybe add a hotel portion?

Interesting part about mass transport. From the article that I read it stated they wanted somewhere more suburban to accommodate multiple buildings. Seemed like they are looking for more of a campus type option.

Cincinnati: I-71 Improvements / Uptown Access Project (MLK Interchange)
i think they are regarding the hill. They built shelves right of that picture and then covered them back up with a final grade. They added a new lane and it may be that the hill was too close to the new lane.

i think they are leaving the letters, because those were installed probably 3 or 4 years ago when they made the change to the new logo but never changed the background. I assume they are changing the background to the new color scheme.
