I do think it's great, but there also is a Giant Eagle and a Dave's less than a mile away. Within 2/3 more miles you have 2 more Dave's, another Marc's, an Aldi, and Sweetberry Fresh Market, and two more Giant Eagle's not far after that. I get the idea that not everyone can drive- but this is hardly a food "desert" when it comes to grocery stores. The writer is exaggerating a bit.

Has anyone else heard any rumblings of what the restaurant may be? The Downtown work crowd is dying for new fast casual options!

East is a fascinating surviving structure of the old Warner & Swasey (Case Tech) Observatory. That's pretty awesome. Though, it's feet away from being Cleveland Heights, so it's more understandable that the streets are a little nicer. I hate being the pessimist because I used to be pretty optimistic about East Cleveland. When you look at the overall picture, there's too much to be done to see any immediate improvement in the next 5-10 years. The residents who currently live in East Cleveland and are fine with it are not going to suddenly decide to improve and maintain their properties if they have not already been. It's just very unfortunate and honestly sad. This is exciting. I wouldn't be too surprised since there's such huge potential on these few blocks for infill. I really hope there is also eventually some investment in the area between Euclid and Terrace Rd. That area of Marloes, Roxford, and Rosemont has some really, really great residential streetscapes. That makes me so sad. The streets between Euclid and Forest Hill Avenue have a true shot of being recovered and built back up in the next 10 years. Anything east of Superior Road is a pipe dream in my lifetime IMO.

Maybe referring to the proposal to tear down the Wolstein and make a smaller arena with dorms next door.

It's odd. The place was packed every time I went there (weekly). Very sad!

It's actually a pretty great area and what I call "urban suburban." Welcome!

Took a look at Galleria. If this is true, it is likely a pop-up, getting food in warmers from rocky river or willoughby. None of the restaurant spaces are being built out and it looked per the usual Galleria- all For Lease signs. Typical wkyc/scene reporting before they have any real facts. How dare they get me excited.

This is also not listed on Chickfila's coming soon page, which is well-known due to the fact that CFA makes a big deal about store openings. The first 100 customers get free food for a year. I just don't think I'm buying this- unless I'm proved wrong.

I haven't seen anything official on this besides Cleveland news outlets and Cleveland Scene- none of which are credible sources. Won't get my hopes up.
