  1. The Northside UDF does not have gas. But also, it's quite bad at actually serving the community as any more than a beer and snack stop. The food and toiletry prices are typically high, and the quality low. That being said I'm sure that one at the banks would be a bit nicer.
  2. TroyEros you sound like such a gentrifier it is incredible.

  4. And new construction seems to think none of them do.
  5. If they moved anywhere, I would hope it to be Northside.
  6. More room for crap.
  7. No one is saying this should actually happen...
  8. Anything worth a damn moving to South Fairmount would be pretty tight. Not saying Art Academy should do that. But imagine having student housing in the Lunkenhiemer plant or the Midwest Textiles building, it would be rad. Back to TOB though, I hope that dining room isn't private for long, the article states that the expansion will grow seating from 77 to 100+, but 26 of those are in the private dining room, which though will be open for brunch, however I hope it just becomes part of the main restaurant.
  9. Never noticed that little leg that sticks out. Kind of crazy, it appears that there was a whole street front of businesses that was removed when they built the Macy's.
  10. Just curious but are there windows on the south side? If so I wonder if that has had an effect on the redevlopement, being half of the hotel would get very little sunlight and have views of a blank wall.
  11. Not too sure but it seems like only 3 or 4 years ago that the last two adjacent buildings were removed. There's also an arch from an old stairwell that is still there.
  12. You guys are alright :). And just to put an end to this, someone said "best house in Mt Auburn" or something to that effect. I just think it looks a lot like something that would get built today in Indian Hill. It's beautiful, but to me there are probably more exciting or unique homes in Mt. Auburn.
  13. I also haven't had a TV in a while...
  14. Just my opinion, y'all are so sensitive! And how about I replace HGTV with "traditional and a bit boring", clear now?
  15. It's a bit too HGTV for me, but sure, it's nice.
  16. Here is an old article, but I wanted to mention that this project is well underway. https://www.cpexecutive.com/post/seniors-housing-project-awaits-green-light/
  17. Wonder if we will ever see a project that doesn't shrink in the planning phases.
  18. So probably nothing like that rendering then.
  19. The garage is indeed a travesty. Perhaps there is some way we could voice our opinions on the matter to those involved?
  20. "What do you mean by "do something else with that building"?" Use your imagination, I'm sure there are a multitude of other potential uses besides a hospital. Could be a hotel, indoor horticulture center, racquette club, dance hall, apartments, Artist studios, a whole foods, I dunno but I wouldn't say that it has to be a hospital.
  21. Sigh, kinda wish they would do something else with that building, it's so close to UC and could be something beneficial to the campus. But hospitals are good, just seems as if there are still plenty up there.
  22. ^ Isn't that the issue in San Fran that's driven rent to such ridiculous levels?
