  1. Now you're just making yourself look bad.
  2. I lived in one of their apartments, it was really nice. Unfortunately I'm not wealthy. It must be nice to have the kind of money to call something like this dismal. I called it home. Thanks bud.
  3. No one making a Tom Jones joke? That is unusual.
  4. I worked next to Powell, there were not monthly fires. It's an occupied building.
  5. well this topic got a little off the rails.
  6. Why does this path seem to be such a complete mess? This should have been finished years ago.
  7. Well that's just depressing. I'm almost positive I wont be seeing any architecture like that going up in my lifetime. If I were rich I would definitely step up to "throw money at it" as they said in the article.
  8. Was the rec center demolished for this project?
  9. Not sure if that address is correct. 2300 Reading appears to be the Shell station.
  10. I once tried to cool off by some AC exhaust vent thing in an alley by P&G then some ominous voice came over a speaker and told me it was private property.
  11. Lets leave the Mountain Mama outta this.
  12. It amazes me that there used to be a near continuous street wall from downtown out Colerain Ave. all the way to the corner of Chase and Hamilton.
  13. What!? We need to get that fixed. I'm also still waiting on a replacement sign for Alta Crest Lane.
  14. Currently living in Southeast OH. I can say it's also not a generational problem as just today I found a bunch of pull tab Rolling Rock cans in the woods that looked to be from the 70s, as well as a Coke bottle from Parkersburg, WV and a Dr. Pepper bottled in Elyria, OH with 10¢ marked in the glass. Also found a Moerlein bottle fragment in Cincy once, like a pre 80s original.
  15. That house is beautiful, I hope it can be saved. However last time I walked around it, it stunk of pee, and looked worse than it smelled.
  16. I'm confused about the church situation, with the emphasis on "restoring". So does that mean there will be a sculpture studio in a restored church sanctuary? That just doesn't make sense to me.
