Cleveland: Downtown: May Company Building
From the article: How the hell is a walkway that bypasses the street going to revitalize the street level retail?

Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
There was a stop work order from the city stapled to the front of the building after the initial collapse. Not sure if there are fines or other issues preventing it from restarting.

Ohio Census / Population Trends & Lists
That's a sign of the economy in those areas. No real indication of it turning around either.

^ Best as I can eyeball, 32 floors done.- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I don't see why Sherwin Williams would be opposed to a mixed use tower. A tower on Public Square with a retail and hotel component would be great for their employees and clients that come to town.- Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News
That's great news. I wonder if they landed a tenant or the reno is just speculative.- Cleveland: Wind Turbine Construction News

Thanks for the updates. The Book Tower is quite a looker.- Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Looking at the cam back to the beginning of August, they've averaged a floor of glass a week.- Cleveland Browns Discussion
I can only go off what i see. None of us were in the huddle to be able to make promises.- Cleveland Browns Discussion
It shouldn't have gotten to 4th and 9 in the first place. Kitchens should have challenged the pass interference no call. Then he followed one bad call with a draw play on 4th, yikes.- Cleveland Browns Discussion
Mayfield can't see open wide receivers. Either he learns how to anticipate where his guys are sight unseen or he flames out.- Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus

No, a carbon tax wouldn't take away local revenue that goes to the county or city. The city might not like it because it could affect employment but that's a separate discussion.- Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
^ There's just 3 or 4 floors left so not much taller than it is now.- Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
I'm not on the red line often, but the impossible to understand station announcements is always a problem. Last time was labor day morning a couple weeks ago coming back from the airport. It really needs to be a recording.- Cleveland: Ohio City: INTRO (Market Square / Harbor Bay Development)
No developer is going to agree to those conditions because it will hamstring the tenants they can attract. A limited tenant pool means banks won't touch it with a 10 story pole. There is a certainty a substantial number of tenants here will simply relocate from downtown, if for no reason than that's where all the office jobs are anyway.- Cleveland: Ohio City: INTRO (Market Square / Harbor Bay Development)
Good on the city for pushing back on more degradation of home rule. It's too bad a project we all want to get built was the target, but oh well.- Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
But worse for pedestrians and bikes.- Cleveland: General Business & Economic News
Sounds plausible. There's been maybe a 1000 units (or less) between 2017 and 2018. There's more than that under construction now.- Cleveland: Ohio City: INTRO (Market Square / Harbor Bay Development)
I thought it was a decent article. Could have used more detail about how the subsidies compare and how Harbor Bay is proceeding. Too many throwaway lines that would have been a good time to expand.- Cleveland: Cleveland State University: Development and News
Football stadiums aren't used enough to attract ancillary development. They usually become a financial anchor unless you are lucky enough to grow a large following, which CSU won't. They are looking to demo Wolstein for a smaller basketball stadium with less seats. That to me is the smarter option.- Ohio Energy Bailout Referendum
The basis for the propaganda is that Chinese banks provided loans for natural gas plants that support the referendum to repeal HB6. Fun fact, Chinese banks also provided loans to First Energy as part of a $2.5 billion line of credit. You don't hear about that in those ads.
