Cleveland: Downtown: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Expansion
I was down there this afternoon too. So many folks taking pictures of the Long Live Rock sign. It was a fun vibe.

Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
All the red is owned by Playhouse Square Foundation. Combine the Grayhound station with the large Cleveland owned lot to the west and you have a massive development opportunity. They already own the parking lot and garage to the south. Hopefully this was a "final piece" before they start the development process. This area has been underutilized for far too long.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
That looks awful. Aside from Councilman Slife, the lack of pushback on the location is just sad. Watching these meetings it gets more and more obvious how inconsistently the CPC treats projects.

Will we see any overhead shots of the stadium if it's by the airport due to airspace restrictions? Probably just aerials of downtown like there is now.- Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News

Man that was bleak. Reminds me of Bourdain's visit nearly 10 years earlier. People have an odd attraction to the desolate. I bet the OP and Bourdain (if he were alive) would complain about how it's so sterile now.- Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
There's also no benefit to Bibb saying anything if they are in active negotiation.- Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Wishful thinking probably. It'd be nice to see that corner get redeveloped, but a bunch of money was just put into rehabbing that garage.- Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development

What's the market like in downtown Austin and Denver for $15 million condos?- Chicago: Developments and News
Yeah I'm sure higher interest rates have nothing to do with it.- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters

I think this technically is part of Battery Park. Didn't we have Flats South/Stone's Levee thread at some point? Seems Cleveland Whiskey is ready to move into their new production facility at 601 Stones Levee Road. https://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/2024/03/cleveland-whiskey-moving-to-open-flats-tasting-room.html- Cleveland Cavs Discussion

Man, wouldn't that be nice. Does that Solon right of way exist any more? I remember them trying to give it up for a multipurpose trail a couple years ago. Maybe it was a different line.- Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
Bummer. That asphalt plant (and the other asphalt plant and the concrete plant) is a quality of life issue for parts of the neighborhood.- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I agree anything ODOT is involved with is pretty bad. But the early renderings of the Cleveland lakeshore plan resembles the Erie project -- wide lanes, grassy median, dedicated turning lanes, no sidewalks, a shared multipurpose path, etc. I prefer something that resembles a typical urban street with sidewalks and protected bike lanes. The Erie design dedicates far too much space to the traffic circle and pedestrian bridge, making much of the land adjacent to the road unbuildable. It doesn't appear you can even cross the street on foot.- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Whatever we get, I naively hope it's more pedestrian friendly than that Erie project.- Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Interesting. Definitely not as much as I'd have guessed. That site south of downtown could benefit from people leaving in both directions. Unless they're all just going back downtown to transfer to the Blue/Green lines. Yeah that's too bad. All the more reason football stadiums aren't economic drivers.- Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Any site adjacent to a rapid line could easily accommodate thousands of riders without the local parking space. I wonder what the real parking requirement is now. Though the idea of getting the stadium and all that parking demand the hell out of downtown is intriguing.- Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
Anybody know the extent of the building renovation? I'd love see the exterior restored, but these kind of projects usually don't usually have the budget.- Facebook
