Cleveland Browns Discussion
Phil Taylor posted this on Instagram, for what it's worth...

Cleveland: Retail News
It's too bad actually this one didn't make the cut to stay open. It was one of the only non-food national retailers Downtown that was out on an actual street, versus being in Tower City. That's odd... Fox8 had a list of the stores closing in NEO, and none were in cleveland.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
I think some of the Booing of Dion comes from his remarks stating that in OKC, they actually give him the ball. "like, I actually touch the ball"... Yes, he tried to backtrack his statement in the following days, saying he got the ball with the cavs. But the damage was done. I was at the game, and it wasn't that bad except for when he was shooting free throws. Oh well. Go cavs.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
If it's smith and shumpert, I'm okay with it. Otherwise I'm not. Dion is a cancer in the locker room, but is a good ball player.

^unless theyre talking about the tiny bit of precast in the bottom left hand corner. Nonetheless, trust me when I say that the exterior is NOT cheap, especially the glass curtain wall

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Sure nuff. Speaking of which, I suppose once today's game is over we all need to grade Pettine. I'm interested to hear everyones thoughts on his first year. I'll give you my thoughts right now - he made some rookie coaching mistakes, but I think he brings the demeanor that this organization needs. I like him as a coach, and although we all may not agree with all of his decisions, he definitely is better than the last few coaches in recent memory. Just my thoughts...

It'll be sometime in the first quarter of next year, probably late January or early February. All depends on the continued progress on the cores.

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
Funny how bengals fans are quick to forget the initial loss we handed to them. Yeah, the Browns lost and it was a crappy team performance all around, but at the end of the day, we split the series this year. Yeah, you guys will make the playoffs. So rep the AFC north well. Someone needs to... You seem to be conveniently ignoring all the trash talk on the Browns thread. Even when Manziel has an open lane, he still can't throw over people. Total domination. Most of the talk in the Browns thread is started from you guys... Total domination? Yes. Did we do the same to you guys last game? Yes. Can't say one bad thing about our QBs without having an equal or worse for yours. Nonetheless, I'm rooting for you guys in the playoffs. I just don't feel it can be all one-sided when we split the serious nearly equally.

Will there really be an illuminated stripe on the side of the building? I hope so, I like it! Yes, there really will be an illuminated stripe up the building.

Columbus: General Transit Thread
Don't know where he got his numbers on Cleveland's rapid transit, but per GCRTA, there were 6.4M on the red line and 2.9M on the blue/green/waterfront in 2013 (http://www.riderta.com/news/good-news-ridership-rta-rose-third-straight-year). That equates to over 25k/day and not the 8k/day he stated... Being from cleveland, I don't know all the ins and outs of cbus, but light right is definitely an option for all urban areas, and there are many areas that can benefit from it in Cbus! Port Columbus Airport included. For someone that's so against it such as he, well... It's those who will continue to promote sprawl instead of dense urban areas with availability to good public transportation. Hope city council sees past individuals like himself, and I hope Cbus continues to progress!!

This feels good. I don't have to go to work tomorrow and hear the steelers fans. Though they might still point to Ben's 18-2 record against the Browns ?

^right. Same with Abu Dhabi. They operate it. They did not commission to design or build it.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
If I may say... The two missed field goals, the penalties, and the inability of the offense to get a first down when needed led to the loss. It wasn't one player, and it surely wasn't all Haden.

There has been a lot of progress. They poured the first elevated deck over the weekend. The cores have risen at least a floor this week. Steel erection started today or will start tomorrow. They've been installing the connections and anchor bolts. No need to be impatient. The job is on schedule. Vertical construction is not the quickest type to perform.

Haden moved to Strongsville with his wife after they got married. I THINK his place in pinnacle was taken over by Phil Taylor, because he lives there now (unless he's always lived there).
