Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
I'm watching channel 5 and they keep running commercials for a story on "the future of Hopkins" and how information they have will "change the way we fly in NEO". It's supposedly on Monday at 11pm. They also have some guy saying "they're delaying the inevitable"... I sure hope this isn't what we all fear. I don't know if anyone has any information on what this potentially is? Or maybe it's just the typical negative nancy news.

Cleveland: Downtown: The 9 / Rotunda / County Admin Development
The rendering you're thinking of is Westlake Reed & Leskosky's for K&D's prior development Still teetering on whether or not i like this... yay we get a new building, but at the same time, what is going to happen to the Huntington building? time will tell i suppose.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
This is pretty sad news. I live right there and constantly take people there. I've never had a bad experience, and although a bit pricier, it is good food. Bummer.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
Yes it works out pretty much anywhere. I am just saying the asphalt breaks down faster than just concrete. E93 at the Clinic's main entrance is pavement over concrete. It has held up well for the most part, though after 4 years the concrete expansion joints radiate through the pavement. Still not a major deal with all things considered.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
I don't know if it has been posted, but it appears Prime Rib Steakhouse on Superior has bit the dust. Noticed paper on the windows driving home last night. Not too surprising to me. Weird location and seemed overpriced, although I never went there.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Avenue District
I can't speak for certain, but there seem to be more and more lights on each morning when i'm driving by... either balcony lights or room lights. So I take that as a good sign. Today driving out East, saw a few lights turn on in the penthouse, where unfinished drywall was apparent. Probably construction related, but none the less, it's a good sign that it's being fit-out.

Cleveland: Hotel Development
I drive by every morning on my way to work and occasionally see vehicles/people in the parking garage. This morning I didn't see anything, though. This is good news, as we REALLY REALLY this project to happen.

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
That article really makes it seem as if the GMAC move to CLE is a done deal, but still haven't seen/heard anything to confirm this.

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
for some reason, roughly 60% is in my mind. I know it's in past PD articles regarding Eaton's relocation... i'm too lazy to look them up right now though.

Cleveland: Downtown & Vicinity Residences Discussion
I agree with you, at least when you look at the numbers. But aren't hotels rarely statically higher occupancy than apartment occupancy year to year? I'm just asking, I'm not too knowledgable in the economics. I just hope and pray that some of these new hotels that have been proposed can come online sooner rather than later.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
:-( Guess i have a reason to drink tonight (other than the browns, of course) :drunk: we should just set up a tower crane on one of the lots in the warehouse district so it looks like something's going on
-
Cleveland: Flats East Bank
If you check out the webcam right now, it appears they are going to start to lower/remove the tower crane. :-( sad times... i hope we can have more tower cranes downtown in the near future... i'm kind of a dork when it comes to tower cranes. have an absolute obsession with them.

I saw the fence but just thought it was for the sidewalk reconstruction there. I could be wrong, but they started at the Euclid end of E12 and just completed the sidewalk and could just be moving south in the reconstruction process.

Cleveland: University Circle: Cleveland Clinic Developments
I can't recall if this design was Norman Foster or Peter Walker. I know PWP was looking at the mall upgrades 4 years ago. From what I've been told, this is all they're doing. They were to extend the mall that currently exists between glickman tower and the Crile building through to E105. With what is shown, they did just that.
