This was probably the biggest team win I've seen tonight. It was pretty awesome to watch.
  2. I'm in the warehouse district right on the river and every morning the ships and trains are blowing their horns. After nearly 4 years, I'm used to it now. But it's definitely happening lol
  3. They aren't.

Yeah but the constant berating of Cleveland's bench is uncalled for. Once or twice, fine. But every possession, stop. We get it.

The announcers sure to show love for this team... *sarcasm*
  6. I went in yesterday. It was pretty legit.

^i somewhat agree, but we looked clueless half of the time. They desperately need JR back to spread the floor so we can work inside. They need to get the W on Wednesday.
  8. Unless plans have changed in the last year, it's going to be a ~ 200 room Holiday Inn Express. It'll fill the role the Guesthouse used to play. The holiday inn is supposed to be off of Euclid, not Carnegie. No?
  9. ^ I think it was another 80'. We'll have one more jump mid summer.
  10. It was scheduled for this weekend, May 2-3. I haven't heard whether that's still a go or not.

Yeah I saw that... Classless is an understatement

^i agree. The whole series was a bunch of BS plays, horrible officiating, and cheap shots by Boston. Then the moment we get a few in there, they cry like we are the dirtiest team on the floor. Get a grip. The announcers should be ashamed as well...

Ridiculous. Completely inaccurate description of the current state of downtown. What a joke.
  14. I haven't been as adventurous as you two, but I went there for lunch and had a gyro and it was pretty frickin good
  15. I like them. To each his own I suppose.
  16. Clefan98[/member] yeah... I think it's supposed to be around 380ft. I'm not 100% sure (im not on the project, just involved through the office), but I can confirm.
  17. Final piece of the first jump is going in today
  18. As I stated upthread, this is what you get with a design-build project. Don't let it concern you, nor should you lose sleep over it... Things change. Some for better, some for worse. I don't think I've seen an architectural rendering that has not changed throughout the course of a project. Again, the basic premise is the same... We get a 32 story, modern high-rise with a pretty cool design. This is something we couldn't have dreamed of years ago, and now we like to nitpick it to death.
  19. Wind shut 'er down for today :(
  20. Which overhang? This is the type of stuff you get with a design-build project guys... You have a conceptual rendering from the design architect, but then once it's turned over to the bridging architect and design-build team, things need to change based on engineering, programming, value engineering, etc... The basic premise of the building is still the same.
  21. Some pics from today (3-18-15)
  22. Crane is getting jumped on the 28th. First of three jumps. First one is to add 80ft of height to the crane.
  23. I love townhall and constantly frequent it. Good bourbon and whiskey selection and their food is non-GMO... It's very good IMO. What good bar doesn't have some type of non-desirables? You can't have a vendetta against a business because of one time some guys jumped out of a car screaming stupidity..
  24. It's still going to be a week or two before it jumps
