Columbus: Downtown: Lower.com Field / Astor Park
I think this happens more often than you might realize- see Rocket Mortgage Field House (previously Quicken Loans Arena); I'm guessing there are several more examples, just first one I thought of.

Columbus: Crime & Safety Discussion
I rented in the Short North back in 2007-2009, near the 5th Street intersection even. I never had a safety problem other than my jeep being broken into but it was a soft top and an easy target. Never felt unsafe. There were some shady-like neighborhoods nearby, but High Street was always a safe place to be. It no doubt is way safer now than back then (and it wasn't unsafe then). I think there are some lingering thoughts of it being an unsafe neighborhood by the older Columbusites because way back in the day, it was an unsafe place, but those days are far gone. I would not have any concerns if I were you. I live in CLE now but am moving back to Cbus within a month and would be more than happy to live in Short North again, great place to live. The quintessential revived urban living environment, in my opinion.

Recreation of an ancient cave drawing of man's first bowling match?

Urban Ohio "Picture Of The Day"
^ That's actually a pretty good cover of that song. If you are into The xx, likely going to come across that video in your YouTube feed at some point and watch it, hence the strong viewing numbers.

Those pics are always nice to look at, but then I get sad.

Cuyahoga Falls: Development and News
This is not a commentary on the merits of the project whatsoever, merely an observation. I thought it odd (maybe even ironic) that in those pictures ^ the street is filled with pedestrians and not cars. Of course, it was an event, still just strange to see a pedestrian mall reopened to traffic, but all the pics are of pedestrians walking down the now open to traffic street.

Guess I'm not the only one that accidentally changes the font to wingdings right before sending out an important memo.

Cleveland: Downtown: May Company Building
^ the black granite doesn't appear to show up in the pics above until the 1935 pic. The 1924 pic appears to show the same white facade as used above the storefronts.

I very much like these large warehouse-like windows from the previous version. I still like the new building and how it sits on the site, but boy did I really like how those windows looked.

Cleveland / Lakewood: The Edge Developments
Wow, that got busy fast. I understand that a new store draws patrons, but lots of shoppers there (for grocery). Good to see.
