Vancouver: Transit News
8-) Just found out Vancouver is #3 in production of TV or movies. I found the Translink's The Buzzer blog. They mentioned all the TV shows that used the various Vancouver transit modes: buses, commuter rail,SkyTrain. The latest, I saw was some shots of the Millenium Line Skytrain in the Flash TV show series trailer. It is at 0:25 mark. You can see the Skytrain as Flash runs along the fence. It's very quick. There is another quick one when they did a high speed car roll over. Look up TransLink in TV and film in the blog.

Non-Ohio Transit News & Discussion
:wtf: Beginning in In Jan. 2015, Missoula Montana's Mountain Line, will begin zero-fare system. Do a search to find lots of info. The plan says it will save a lot of money by not having to buy fare boxes, and the related equipment needed to count money and print fare cards, transfers, and passes. Sponsors have been signed up to pay for the 3 yr. experiment. Comments please. Also, all doors are used. Driver-passenger conflicts reduced or eliminated.

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
8-) I was thinking about what if the Broadway or Three Rivers could reappear. In what form would be the best route? If i remember, there was a Pre-Amtrak Broadway, Amtrak Broadway, a few Three Rivers routes. What would be the best route and times? I am thinking there is such a demand, there might be a need for multiple trains per day with connections to other trains.

Youngstown: Restaurant News & Info
mrniles replied to YtownNewsandViews's post in a topic in Restaurants, Local Events, & Entertainment:roll: Since my post in July, Antone's has closed the store in-front of the Liberty Plaza-Walmart. I have seen the new location in the former Rotellie's. The parking lot seems to be busy whenever I've seen it. Good luck to Antone's.

Greater Youngstown WRTA News & Discussion
FYI: Not much good news comes to WRTA. The (Youngstown) Vindicator has a front page article and pictures about the long awaited repairs to the downtown Federal Station. $1.1 million for interior improvements over 6 months. Ashley Luthern, [email protected], did the story.
